Gardenline Telescopic Watering Wand with Gutter Blaster

Aldi is a great place to get inexpensive garden tools and lawn care products every spring. For several months from March through May, the discount German grocer reliably rolls out products ranging from garden hoses to trimmers to rakes and even lawn mowers. You can read about some of Aldi’s spring lawn equipment here.

One item Aldi sells in the spring is the Gardenline Telescopic Watering Wand with Gutter Blaster.

What We Know:

The Gardenline Telescopic Watering Wand with Gutter Blaster (product code 52571) cost $12.99 in April of 2020. Aldi sold the wand for $9.99 in 2019 and 2018, so the price has increased by $3 this year. The wand is an ALDI Find (Special Buy), which means it is only in stores for a short time, and if you miss it, you’ll have to wait until it comes back around next year.

Features for this year’s model include:

  • A pole that extends 36″–60″
  • Thumb control trigger and a design that claims to be leak-free
  • Click-on, click-off heads that change from a pattern wand to a gutter blasting wand
  • A gutter blast for precision cleaning

In the past, going back to 2015 and 2014, Aldi sold watering wands that came with warranty service provided by Ray Padula, a lawn and garden company that sells a variety of products that can be purchased at other retailers such as Home Depot. For more recent watering wand models sold at Aldi, including the 2020 model, we’re not sure who makes them or if they come with a warranty.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t used it, so we don’t know how well the watering wand works. We also don’t know who makes the watering wand or if it comes with a warranty.

  1. I’m looking at the one I just bought. It says lifetime warranty on the peel off label. Made in China. Dist & sold exclusively for Aldi.

    • Thanks for the info!

      • I purchased mine yesterday and am having trouble getting my garden hose to thread on to the device. I did manage to get it somewhat on but the wand leaked like crazy around the connection above where I connected the hose. Not the hose connection. I was soaked but it did work in the small area I was able to reach. But then the pressure was to great and the hose flew off.(: if anyone has any ideas on how to make it not leak would love to know
