SOHL Boucle Ottoman Returning to Aldi

EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2026.
Aldi has sold several types of footrests and ottomans over the years. We own a decorative one that works well in our small living room. We’ve also purchased a kids’ character ottoman that adds an element of fun to a child’s room or play room. These only scratch the surface when it comes to footrests, stools, and ottomans you might find at Aldi at different times of the year.
The most recent ottoman to show up at the discount grocer is one that features boucle upholstery. It also has a minimalistic modern design.
What We Know:

The SOHL Boucle Ottoman is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products if they’re out of stock at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores January 7th, 2026.
It cost $39.99 in 2026, which is up from $29.99 in 2024. That’s still on par with or less than other boucle ottomans you’ll find online.

Here’s more information:
- Available in cream or gray
- Features boucle upholstery
- Elevates your living room
- Provides textural interest and comfort to prop up your feet
Aldi has not shared details in its online ad about the 2026 ottoman, but we know the previous model had a maximum weight load of 176 pounds with dimensions of 24.41″ L x 16.14″ D x 17.72″ H.
This is sold under the SOHL brand. That’s not a company. It’s simply the name Aldi puts on the furniture it sells, which it may source from various suppliers.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet purchased this ottoman, so we don’t know how sturdy it is or how comfortable it is. We write open threads to provide a place for readers to talk about Aldi products.

Bought one in grey for our family room, but boy, those things are big. We have a large family room but with the round coffee table it took up too much space. Also, it raised my legs up higher than the armchair I usually sit in, and would have been way high for anyone sitting on the couch. Pros: it appeared to be well made, sturdy, stylish, and not too heavy to move around. We ended up returning it though because it just didn’t work for our space. It WAS nice!
Thanks for the info!
