Upgrade Your Home with the New SOHL Furniture Woven Accent Bench From Aldi

As summer begins to wind down, if you’re like me, you start preparing your home for the coming fall and winter months.
It’s a time to tidy up the garden and shed after a busy season tending flowers and the lawn. It’s a time to possibly pack up the camping gear. I also tend to do some neglected housecleaning tasks around this time now that we’re more consistently home after summer travels.
It’s also a time when the kids are getting ready to go back to school, and that entails its own to-do list, including buying folders and pencils, making sure everyone has clothes and shoes that fit, and stocking the kitchen with healthy after-school snacks.
Part of getting organized for the fall — whether you have kids going back to school or not — is setting up a place in the home where family members can drop their backpacks, purses, bags, and whatever else they carry with them wherever they go throughout their days.
Likewise, it’s nice to have a place to sit when you’re putting on or taking off your shoes.
In other words, a landing spot at home can be a helpful thing.
Next week, Aldi is selling a woven accent bench that looks perfect for placing in an entryway as a landing spot for stuff, or as a place to sit while you tie your shoes. This bench would also work well in a bedroom, placed at the foot of a double bed.
What We Know:
The SOHL Furniture Woven Accent Bench (Product Code: 712534) is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are out of stock at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in stores August 14th, 2024.
The SOHL Furniture Woven Accent Bench cost $39.99 at the time of publication. Similar benches on Amazon mostly start around $100 and go up from there, so the Aldi bench looks like a great deal.
The bench features a light-colored woven top that has a clean, classic look. It has dark wooden legs with smaller wooden support bars running horizontally between each of the legs.
Here’s more information, according to Aldi:

This is sold under the SOHL Furniture brand, which is not a company. It’s the private label Aldi uses for furniture it sells, which it may source from a variety of different suppliers.
Aldi has previously sold other accent benches that looked completely different, including a white wooden one with storage doors and a cubby, with a cushion on top. They also sold an all-wood bench at one point.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried this accent bench, so we don’t know how easily it assembles or how durable it is. Aldi also has not yet published information about whether this comes with a warranty. We write open threads to give our readers a place to talk about Aldi products.
