Pembrook 12-Month Undated Planner

As a writer and editor, I need a way to keep my various projects organized and to mark my progress. Work aside, it’s also helpful to have a way to keep track of various kid activities or family events, along with making note of various errands, appointments, and domestic tasks. A traditional wall calendar might be all you need for kid extracurriculars and things such as dental appointments. For a more complex schedule, or for work purposes, you might find that a planner is best.
A couple of years ago, I purchased some very nice hardback undated planner books from Aldi, and they’ve become essential to helping me plan my workweek and my days, especially when it comes to organizing my writing projects. Aldi doesn’t always sell the same types of planners twice, though, and I haven’t been able to find those planners since then. I’m getting down to the last few months of my last older planner, so I’ve been keeping an eye out for a new planner.
Most recently, Aldi sold a collection of spiral-bound student planners, teacher planners, and undated planners among their back-to-school gear. I picked up a student planner for one of my kids who has used Aldi student planners in previous years and has liked them. I also bought an undated general planner for myself. The general planner is not the same as the hardback ones I bought a few years ago, but it will work for my purposes.
The Pembrook 12-Month Undated Planner cost $4.99 in July of 2023. That’s less than most planners on Amazon.
This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not in stock at your local store.
Here’s more information about the planner, according to Aldi:
- Available in several designs and colors, including: Orange, Purple, Good Day, or Happiness
- Features a 12-month format, monthly and weekly
- Tabbed for quick reference
- Includes goal planning, notes, bullet, and graph pages
- Comes with a bookmark ruler and planning stickers
- Includes a two-sided packet page
This planner format includes three main features. First, it has monthly goal-planning pages with space for writing to-dos and top priorities. Second, it has monthly calendar pages that let you see your entire month at a single glance. And third, it has weekly pages where you can write plans for individual days.
Because the planner is undated or date agnostic, you can start using it any time of year and simply fill in the dates in the spaces provided.
I find the weekly planning pages with individual days to be most useful for me, but everyone’s needs will be different and some people may prefer the pages where they can see the entire month at one glance.
This planner also includes something my previous planners from Aldi did not come with: three pages of stickers. Some of the stickers go on the month tabs that stick out from the pages. Other stickers are for noting important events or reminders.
There are also stickers for major holidays, vacation, meetings, date nights, general appointments, babysitter days, parties, showers and weddings, travel days, and birthdays.
And finally, there are stickers for to-dos, bills due, payday, conferences, deadlines, and other various events or helpful reminders.
This planner has the basics that I need, including daily planning pages and monthly goal-setting pages. It’s a little flashier than my older planners that didn’t come with stickers or affirmational sayings, but I think it will meet my needs, and you can’t beat the price.
The Verdict:
The Pembrook 12-Month Undated Planner features monthly goal-setting pages, monthly calendar pages, and weekly planning pages where you can write details for individual days. It also comes with several pages of stickers for marking dates and offering reminders of meetings, deadlines, vacations, holidays, and other events. I’ve seen Aldi sell simpler planners, and I’ve also seen them sell more full-featured planners or planners that cater to specific interests or vocations. This one falls somewhere in between. If you’re looking for an inexpensive planner, you could do worse than this one.
Hello my name is Leslie and I am a teacher. I really like the Pembrook Planners. Do you know when they are coming out with new ones including the Teacher Planner as well. My teacher friends and I really like the teacher planner and the price.
You could try asking Aldi, but they may or may not tell you when planners will be in stock. https://www.aldi.us/en/contact/
I really hope they re-release these next month! I have the exact planner (even the color) and it fits my needs perfectly. *crosses-fingers* nothing on amazon looks even similar, or comes close to the great price. I love the moveable “bookmark”.
