Bake Shop Carrot Cake Sandwich Cookies are Hopping Into Aldi
This post is an open thread.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2026.
Easter and spring products are flooding into Aldi stores right now. The aisles are filled with candy for egg hunts, specialty chocolate, bunny-shaped cookies, pies, egg decorating kits, spiral hams, Easter basket fillers, and all kinds of decorations.
Carrot cake is a spring staple I often see at Aldi. I also sometimes see interesting twists on a traditional carrot cake. For instance, Aldi is selling carrot cake sandwich cookies as a limited-time special. If you want something with a smaller serving size that’s also a little more portable than a regular cake, these might be worth dropping in your shopping cart.
What We Know:

Bake Shop Carrot Cake Sandwich Cookies are an Aldi Find, so they’re only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and once that’s sold out, they’re gone until next year. If these are sold out at your local store, you can’t order them online from Aldi.
These are scheduled to arrive in stores on April 1st, 2026.
Bake Shop Carrot Cake Sandwich Cookies cost $4.99 for a 15.5-ounce package in 2026. That’s up from $4.79 for a 15.5-ounce package when we first wrote about them in 2024. Each package contains 12 cookies, which comes out to about 42 cents per cookie in 2026.
The package states these have a cream cheese filling.
As is the case with many Aldi baked goods, these should freeze well if you want to save them for after the spring season.
Aldi has not shared details in its online ad about the 2026 cookies, but they look identical or very similar to what Aldi has previously sold. The nutrition information and ingredients below are from 2024.

If you’re looking out for allergens, these contain eggs, milk, soy, and wheat.
One cookie has 180 calories, 9 grams of total fat (12% DV), 4.5 grams of saturated fat (23% DV), 140 mg of sodium (6% DV), 24 grams of total carbohydrates (9% DV), 1 gram of dietary fiber (2% DV), 14 grams of total sugars, 13 grams of added sugars (26% DV), and 2 grams of protein.

What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried these cookies. We write open threads to provide readers with a place to discuss Aldi products.

I’ve gotten these twice in the last year or so. They’re delicious! The cookies are thick and soft and the filling is a nice complement.
Perfect little snack. Love them so get them while you can.
Am I the only one that has found their cake sandwich cookies aren’t as good as they used to be? I used to love them, now I avoid them.
Haven’t tried the recent carrot cake ones though.
These cookies are awesome!! Wish I could get them all the time. Would certainly buy!!!
