In the time I’ve been covering Aldi, I’ve seen a lot. Aldi is known to sell just about everything, especially through its rotating middle aisle. Around here we figure that if you wait long enough, you’ll see it.
What I haven’t seen before is an Aldi fridge; not in the U.S., at least. I have seen refrigerators in Aldi stores overseas, including Australia, which sold a full-sized one earlier this year. Up to this point, though, I haven’t seen one in the States.
That’s no longer the case. Just in time for college students to head back to school, Aldi US is bringing something small enough for a dorm.
What We Know:
What We Don’t Know:
Aldi typically provides detailed information about its products on its expanded ad page for upcoming Aldi finds. However, for some reason this mini fridge is not listed. That means that we don’t yet have access to any of the fridge’s specs, including exact dimensions or capabilities. We also can’t find any listing for the fridge on Aldi’s warranties and manuals page.
In addition, as this is a debut model, we don’t yet know who manufactures it, how well it works, or how long it lasts.
Do you have any experience with this fridge? Let us know in the comments.
