Belavi Raised Growing Planter Headed to Aldi

EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2026.
Raised garden beds are a great way to grow healthy flowers and veggies. You can fill a raised bed with whatever garden soil, compost, or other materials you want. Raised beds are especially nice if you live in an area where you don’t have naturally rich or fertile soil to start a garden in. I have several raised beds in my backyard, where I grow everything from berries to native flowers to green beans.
Aldi used to sell some excellent modular raised garden beds every spring. They were made of composite wood grain timbers and were manufactured by Frame It All, which produces and sells a variety of raised garden kits.
However, Aldi went years without selling those types of raised garden beds. Instead, Aldi sold raised planters — basically small garden beds on legs — of various sizes and designs.
Then, in 2024, Aldi introduced a new raised garden bed kit. This one is different from the old Frame It All raised beds Aldi used to sell. The newer raised garden bed looks like it’s made entirely of wood, with no composite or plastic components that I can see.
Aldi sold that newly designed raised bed again in March of 2025. Now, it’s returning once again in March of 2026.
What We Know:
The Belavi Raised Growing Planter, previously called the Belavi Raised Garden Bed, is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store should get one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back next year. You can’t order this online from Aldi if it’s sold out at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in stores the week of March 25th, 2026.
The Belavi Raised Growing Planter cost $19.99 in 2026. That’s the same price it cost in 2025 and 2024. That’s cheaper than other wooden raised garden beds on Amazon.
Here’s more information, according to Aldi:
- Easy, tool-free assembly
- Suitable for various surfaces
- Open-bottom design encourages healthy plant growth
We have not seen Aldi advertise the dimensions for this raised bed, but a reader in 2024 said it measured 54.72″ x 38.97″ x 7.87″.
I don’t know for sure, but it looks like this bed has the potential to be modular if you wanted to buy two kits and connect them.
This raised bed is sold under the Belavi brand. There is no company called Belavi. Instead, that’s the name Aldi puts on its garden-related products, which it sources from various suppliers.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet purchased this raised garden bed, so we don’t know how easily it assembles or how durable it is. Aldi also has not stated whether this comes with a warranty. We write open threads to offer readers a place where they can discuss Aldi products.

Do you happen to know the dimensions of this planter?
33×31×16
I have been searching for dimensions and they don’t seem to be available. I’m guessing they must be a max of 4’x3′. Hoping to get a look at one today, as they are supposed to have hit stores this morning.
Yeah, Aldi didn’t publish dimensions in their weekly ad, so the only way to find that information is to actually get eyes on the product. Please come back here and let us know if you find out the measurements.
They’ll be able next week. The dimensions are 33×31×16.
Item dimensions:
54.72 x 38.97 x 7.87 inches /
(139 x 99 x 20 cm W x D x H)
Thank you!
Thanks Marty!
I was lucky enough to procure one from Aldi! It was very easy to put together (no tools required). I’m now wondering what kind of wood it is and if I should treat it somehow! It seems good quality for the price though.
Thanks for the info!
Tawny, we are treating ours with boiled linseed oil before putting them together. Hopefully that will help them last longer. Like you, we’re not sure what kind of wood they are made from, but would like to.
Aldi might be able to tell you what kind of wood they’re made from. If you find out, please comment back here and let us know. https://www.aldi.us/contact/
Do you know if the word for the raised beds has been treated. It’s greenish look has me concerned
I’ve seen two different sizes posted. They’re supposed to be 100 % Chinese fir.
What state are you finding this in?
So, one year later some of the places where they join have broken off despite treating them twice with linseed oil. The way the corners stick out sort of invites things to catch on them, and two rambunctious dogs that race around probably doesn’t help. They have not rotted out, however…just become a bit brittle.
I bought two of these today. I’m also wondering what kind of wood is used and if it was treated. I want my bed to be organic and clean.
Picked up 2 today, $20 couldn’t pass it up. Measurements are 54.72″ x 38.97″ x 7.87. Will be putting together next weekend hoping I can stack them easily. Will let you know.
Does anyone know if they can be stacked?
