Aldi Selling the Dentiguard Rechargeable Water Flosser

There is one hole in the Aldi merchandise lineup that really puzzles one of our writers. The grocer sells a small array of personal care items, including some dental products such as traditional toothbrushes. Aldi even occasionally sells power toothbrushes as limited-time specials.
However, Aldi doesn’t sell dental floss. At least not as an everyday Regular Buy. The lack of dental floss is concerning enough that it routinely makes it onto our writers’ annual personal lists of products we’d like to see Aldi stock.
Aldi still isn’t selling floss, but in the summer of 2024, the grocer introduced something related to floss: a rechargeable water flosser. That water flosser is back at Aldi in the summer of 2025.
The most well known water flosser is the name-brand Waterpik, invented in 1962. Water flossers — also called oral irrigators or dental water jets — use a pulsating high-pressure stream of water to clean between teeth and below the gumline. They’re especially popular among people with braces or dental implants who can’t always use regular floss. When my oldest child first got braces, I did some research and ultimately purchased special plastic flossers designed to get under braces, but I saw plenty of people online recommending a Waterpik or generic equivalent.
What We Know:
The Dentiguard Rechargeable Water Flosser is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a limited time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi doesn’t offer online ordering for products that are out of stock at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in stores July 23rd, 2025.
The Dentiguard Rechargeable Water Flosser cost $19.99 in 2025. That’s the same price it sold for in 2024.
I found plenty of other water flossers selling for $20 or more on Amazon. If you go with a name brand Waterpik, you’ll pay anywhere from $40 all the way up to $140, depending on the model you choose.

Here’s more information about the Aldi water flosser:
- Features four operating modes: normal, soft, pulse, and customize
- Works with two-button operation
- Includes two-minute timer
- Advertised as being more effective than traditional floss to improve gum health, reduce gingivitis, and clean around braces
- Features powerful water tip and pulsation that gently massages gums
- Use for hard-to-reach places
- Comes with one bonus nozzle tip
- Advertises extra-long battery life
- Comes with a one-year warranty

This is sold under the Aldi house brand, Dentiguard, which is not a company. It’s the name Aldi puts on its dental care products, which it may source from various suppliers.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried this water flosser, so we don’t know how well it works or how long it lasts. We write open threads to provide you with a space to talk about Aldi products.

I use it for a week now, and I like it. It is more powerful than my corded Waterpik, no more cabling mess. I refill the water twice per use to floss. It is plugged in after each use to recharge, usb only, so you will need your old phone charging adapter. It is perfect for taking with you on a travel.
I’ve never used a water flosser before, but oooooh weeeee… i was blown away with all of the particles that washed out of my mouth. I decided to use before brushing and then after brushing today. I had no idea i had a food family living in my mouth. I usually use dental picks, but this has made me a believer. Good pressure. I wish they could’ve provided a wall adapter. 4 stars for that.
Sheila!!!!! Sounds like you are enjoying that water flosser way too much 🙂 I might want that same experience and try it. Thanks
Just tried it tonight and felt like it assaulted my mouth. I had it on the most gentle setting and it was a hard stream of water that felt like it took some of the taste buds off my tongue. And water went everywhere, all over the mirror, the counter, me. Not trying again,
I purchased this dental flosser this fall and LOVE it! It does such an amazing job. The initial charge lasted a really long time. The second charge didn’t last as long and now I have been without it for two weeks as it won’t take the charge anymore! I am so sad! It has a one year warranty and should be replaced but I don’t know how to go about that.
For warranty service, you’ll need to use the contact information that came with the flosser. That info is on the packaging and/or on a separate paper that came with it.
