Priano Alfredo Sauce
While homemade alfredo sauce always tastes the best, sometimes I want a quick and simple option. The selection of jarred alfredo sauces at Aldi seems to have varied over the years. Sometimes Aldi carries alfredo sauce under its Priano house brand, and other times I’ve only seen name-brand Classico alfredo sauce at Aldi.
Currently, my local Aldi stores are only selling alfredo sauce under the Priano private label. This sauce comes in three varieties: Creamy Alfredo, Roasted Garlic Alfredo, and Four Cheese Alfredo. The labels state these are “inspired by Italy.”
Priano Alfredo Sauce is a Regular Buy, meaning you should be able to find it at Aldi all year. (Unless Aldi decides to switch up its alfredo sauce selection, as it has done in the past.) These are stocked on the room-temperature shelves near the red pasta sauces and various pastas. Of course, after opening these, they should be refrigerated.
We buy Aldi products with our own money to review. I paid $1.69 per 15-ounce jar at my local store in 2024. That comes out to about 11 cents per ounce.
If you’re looking out for allergens, every variety contains milk and egg.
The main ingredients regardless of the variety include water, cream, modified food starch, and enzyme modified egg yolks. Farther down the ingredients lists, these contain some processed items including guar gum, gum arabic, and natural flavors.

One serving is 1/4 of a cup of sauce. This will net you 45 calories, 3 grams of total fat (4% DV), 1.5 grams of saturated fat (8% DV), 380-390 mg of sodium (17% DV), 3 grams of total carbohydrates (1% DV), no dietary fiber, no total sugars or added sugars, and 1 gram of protein.

I primarily serve this sauce on pasta, but I’ve also served it on flatbread pizzas. It’s fine, and it doesn’t taste all that different from other store-bought jarred alfredo sauces I’ve had. The garlic alfredo sauce has a mild garlic tang that we like. We did notice the creamy alfredo sauce has a lot of pepper in it that gives it a mild kick, so be aware of that if you don’t like lots of pepper or spice. The four cheese alfredo sauce is probably my least favorite; it doesn’t really taste cheesy to me, but personal tastes may vary.

The Verdict:
Priano Alfredo Sauce currently comes in three varieties: Creamy Alfredo, Roasted Garlic, and Four Cheese. These are decent for jarred sauces from the store. Are they like homemade? No. But they’re comparable to other store-bought alfredo sauces. We like the creamy and garlic varieties the best.
