Mama Cozzi’s BBQ Smoked Chicken Pizza
I love a good pepperoni pizza, or a supreme pizza with tender-crisp veggies. I’m also usually up for trying pizzas with unique toppings. Aldi has sold a few pizzas with unusual toppings over the years, including a green bean casserole pizza and a mac and cheese pizza.
The latest novel pizza to hit the Aldi Find freezer aisle is a BBQ smoked chicken pizza that includes corn chips as a topping.
That’s right. There are corn chips on this pizza. I pretty much had to get it to try at home.
Mama Cozzi’s BBQ Smoked Chicken Pizza is an Aldi Find, which mean it’s in stores for a short time only. Each store should get one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is out of stock at your local store.
This arrived in stores July 2nd, 2025, and it cost $5.99 for an 18.1-ounce pizza at our local store. That’s around 33 cents per ounce. We bought this with our own funds.
The package says this features BBQ sauce, smoked chicken, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, green onion, and corn chips.
If you’re looking out for allergens, this contains milk, wheat, and soy.

The label states the crust is free of artificial preservatives. This pizza overall still has some ultra-processed ingredients, including dextrose and natural flavors.
One pizza serves four. One serving has 350 calories, 13 grams of total fat (16% DV), 6 grams of saturated fat (30% DV), 800 mg of sodium (35% DV), 41 grams of total carbohydrates (15% DV), 2 grams of dietary fiber (5% DV), 11 grams of total sugars, 9 grams of added sugars (18% DV), and 14 grams of protein.
The package has directions for baking this in a conventional oven. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Remove all packaging from the pizza and place the pizza directly on the center oven rack. (I used a pizza pan.) Bake for 17-21 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.

I wasn’t sure how the corn chips would hold up to being frozen and then baked atop this pizza, but they ultimately turned out fairly crispy, all things considered. The rest of the pizza is flavorful, with barbecue sauce, chicken, various cheeses, and green onions. It reminds me some of the loaded nachos you might get at a barbecue restaurant.
The Verdict:
Mama Cozzi’s BBQ Smoked Chicken Pizza is a thin crust pizza that features smoked chicken, barbecue sauce, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, green onions, and corn chips. We were intrigued by the corn chips, and they don’t disappoint. The Fritos-style chips add the perfect amount of crunch to this savory pizza. Recommended.
