Adventuridge Rocking Director’s Chair Rolling Into Aldi

A folding chair is one of those useful things that can come in handy during the expected — and unexpected — times. We’ve packed them on camping trips, during day outings, when going to family gatherings, and for other planned events. We’ve also pulled them out when the crowd at the house got too big, or when we were making a last-minute visit to an evening concert, or when we needed to add an extra chair at the last minute because we we realized our destination might not have enough seating.

You can find folding chairs in the seasonal section of many retailers: big box stores, dollar stores, hardware stores, even some pharmacies. Aldi, too, will frequently stock folding chairs as part of its limited buy section. Aldi chairs might be normal, or big, or small … or, in this case, even rocking.

What We Know:

The Adventuridge Rocking Director’s Chair is an Aldi Find. Stores should get one shipment, and once that shipment is sold out, it’s gone until Aldi decides to bring it back, which could be next year or never. Aldi doesn’t send things through the mail, so if you can’t find it in stores, you’re out of luck and can’t order online.

In 2026, this rocking chair cost $49.99. That’s the same price it cost in 2025. While that’s not the cheapest Aldi product, the price is still lower than any such chair I can find on Amazon.

In 2026, the chair comes in beige or green.

Aldi redesigned its website earlier this year and is not sharing details about upcoming specials. However, here’s what we know from when Aldi sold the chair in 2025:

• Bounce plate design provides a gentle rocking motion
• Features a heavy duty steel frame and compact folding design
• Includes fabric cup holder and side pocket for easy storage
• Weight capacity 300 lbs.

This is sold under the Adventuridge brand, which is not a manufacturer. Rather, it’s the name Aldi puts on many of the outdoor products it sells, which it sources from various suppliers.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t tested out this chair so we don’t know how easily it sets up (or tears down), how comfortable it is, or how long it lasts. We also don’t know if this comes with any kind of warranty. We’ve created this open thread for users to share their experiences.
