Serra Teacher Accessories Landing at Aldi

There is no surer way to rain on a teacher’s summer vacation then by posting back-to-school ads.
Those ads typically start hitting in July, at a time when most teachers are relishing having the ability to use the restroom whenever the feel like it and having more than 15 minutes to eat lunch. Ads reminding you that your long lunch days are numbered are most unwelcome.
Aldi is one of those stores that starts advertising back-to-school in July, often leading off with college gear before transitioning to more K-12 oriented fare. In 2026, the store mixed things up a little by leading off, not with student stuff, but teacher stuff. I’m not sure if teacher gear is exactly what teachers want to think about in early July, but teacher gear is what Aldi’s got. Among the offerings were a collection of accessories under a common mixed case.
What We Know:
Serra Teacher Accessories are an Aldi Find. Each store gets a single stock, and once they’re sold out, you can’t get them again until they come back. If you can’t find them in stores, you won’t be able to find them until next year … if at all. Serra is an Aldi private label that is focused on women’s apparel and accessories.
In 2026, these accessories all cost $4.99.
Let’s take a look at what’s in the collection.
Apple Bandana
Presumably for those days when you need to cover your head, the bandana is different from — and cheaper than — anything we can find on Amazon.
Bow and Apple Clip
Another hair accessory, we can’t find anything like it on Amazon.
Pencil Clip Set
Yet another hair accessory. Amazon sells something like them, too, although the Aldi version is cheaper.
Teacher Clip
That’s right — another hair accessory. Amazon sells teacher hair clips for less, although you have to buy a multi-pack to get there.
Teacher Headband
The last of the hair accessories, this is also something you can get for less on Amazon, but only if you buy several at once. None of the Amazon ones have this metal-accented look, though.
Pencil Earrings
These scream “I’m a teacher” as much as any accessory I’ve seen. Amazon sells something similar, but for more.
Ruler Lanyard
This unique number has a lot going for it, especially since many schools nowadays require IDs for staff. I can’t find anything like it on Amazon.
Teacher Pouch
The one accessory in this group that isn’t strictly meant to be worn. It’s less than what I can find for a case on Amazon.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried out any of these accessories, so we don’t know how they look in person or how durable they are. That’s why we’ve created this open thread for users to share their experiences.
Have you purchased one of the Aldi Serra Teacher Accessories? Tell us about it in the comments.
