Aldi Brings Back Crane Premium Stadium Seat

Fall sports season is upon us, and that means people — and especially parents — will be spending hours in the bleachers watching their kids compete in volleyball, soccer, football, and in (my personal favorite) marching bands. Sometimes you’re lucky enough to sit in bleachers that have built-in backrests. Other times, the bleachers are just backless benches. These can get uncomfortable after a while.
Fortunately, Aldi sometimes sells stadium seats that are portable and help to make your sports and marching band spectator experience a little more comfortable.
Aldi sold a stadium seat in 2022, and it got mixed reviews from readers on our site. Some people thought it was difficult to adjust, and they weren’t always sure what all the straps and various parts were for.
Then, around 2022, Aldi sold a premium-style stadium seat that works in a similar way but looks different, and it doesn’t have straps like the other seat.
In 2025, the premium stadium seat is returning to Aldi as a limited-time special. It looks a bit different compared to the 2024 model.
What We Know:
The Crane Premium Stadium Seat is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone until the next time Aldi brings them back, if they decide to bring them back. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not currently in stock at your local store.
It cost $16.99 in August of 2025, which is down from $19.99 in August of 2024 and August of 2023. Aldi sold a similar seat for $29.99 in September of 2022. The Aldi seat is a lot less than other stadium seats with backrests on Amazon.
Here’s more information about the 2025 seat, according to Aldi:

- Under-mounted stabilizer bar keeps seat secure
- Foldable for easy storage and transportation
- Available in black, blue, and green
This is sold under the Crane brand, which is not a company. Rather, it’s the name Aldi puts on many of its sports and outdoor products, which it sources from various suppliers.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried this stadium seat yet, so we don’t know how comfortable it is or how well it works. Aldi also has not yet published information about whether this new seat comes with any kind of warranty. We also don’t know the dimensions for this seat. We write open threads to give readers a space to discuss Aldi products.
