Aldi is Introducing a Huntington Home Succulent Diffuser
This post is an open thread.
With essential oils and aromatherapy growing in popularity over the years, Aldi has gotten in on the trend by selling both various oils as well as diffusers for those oils. The discount grocer has sold essential oils and diffusers under its Huntington Home and Welby private labels, and it seems that essential oils and accessories now rotate into Aldi stores as frequently as every couple of months.
The most recent accessory Aldi stocked for essential oil fans is an attractive diffuser that looks like a planter with artificial succulents. It’s pretty enough — especially if you like houseplants — that it might convince some Aldi fans who don’t currently use essential oils to try them.
What We Know:
The Huntington Home Succulent Diffuser (Product Code: 705760) cost $19.99 in February of 2022. It appears to be competitively priced compared to other succulent diffusers on the market; it’s not the cheapest but also not the priciest.
As far as we can tell, this is the first time Aldi has sold this particular type of succulent diffuser, although the grocer sold another diffuser in 2020 for $5.99 that looked like a succulent plant. In addition, Aldi has sold other types of standard, non-decorative diffusers in the past.
The succulent diffuser sold in 2022 is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, and Aldi won’t ship it to you.
This succulent diffuser is for use with essential oils (sold separately).
Here’s more information on the diffuser, according to Aldi:
- A white ridged pot on a low-profile bamboo base holds sweet succulent decorations in a fresh rock garden
- The live plant feel is the perfect companion for diffusing your favorite essential oils
- Use to diffuse a refreshing mist of water and essential oils for aromatherapy benefits and natural fragrance that can enhance your mood
- Features 2 mist modes for up to 8 hours of use, with an auto shut-off feature and 100 mL capacity
- Add up to 5 drops of essential oils per 100 mL of water, replace the decorative sleeve, switch the diffuser on, and enjoy a spa-like aromatherapy experience in your own home
- Choose a Short Succulent or Trailing Succulent style
What We Don’t Know:
We have not yet tried the Huntington Home Succulent Diffuser, so we don’t know how well it works or how durable it is. We also don’t yet know if it comes with any kind of warranty. Our goal with open thread posts such as this one is to offer a space for readers to share about their experiences with a product.
