Booty is a slang term. What you think that slang term means depends on some things.
If you’re of a certain age, when you hear the word booty you’re liable to think of, say, pirate’s treasure. You might think of Robert Lewis Stevenson’s Treasure Island, or the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. X marks the spot, as they like to say.
However, if you’re of a certain other age, when you hear the word booty you might think of … well, a person’s posterior. You might think of certain 1990s films, or one of a few different pop music songs to hit airwaves over the years.
I don’t know that I ever expected to use the word booty — in either slang definition — in writing about Aldi. Yet here we are.
Because, just in time for post-Christmas exercise resolutions, Aldi is selling equipment to tone one’s butt.
What We Know:
The Crane Booty Training System and the Crane Booty Shaping Kit (Product Code: 706134) are Aldi Finds. That means they’re both in stores only for a limited time. Once they’re sold out, you won’t be able to find them in stores again until they come back, whenever that might be. Aldi doesn’t offer online ordering for products that aren’t in stock at your local store.
At the time of this post, both of the products are $12.99 each. These sorts of kits and systems come in all shapes and sizes, some cheap and some not-so-cheap. Whether this is a good value or not depends on what you’re looking for and if these kits fit your preferences.
The Booty Training System.
According to Aldi, features of the Booty Training System include:

- Includes exercise chart and carrying bag
The Booty Shaping Kit.
According to Aldi, features of the Booty Shaping Kit include:
- Multi-level mini loop bands target and tone the legs, hips, glutes and thighs
- Flexible booty band isolates, strengthens and lifts the glute muscles for rapid results
- Gliding core discs work great on carpet or hardwood floors
- Includes 1 flexible Booty Band, 3 multi-level mini loop bands and 2 gliding core discs
- Includes exercise chart and carrying bag
What We Don’t Know:
While we have used our share of Aldi exercise equipment, we have not tried out these specific sets. We can’t say, then, how well they work or how long they last. That’s why we’ve created this open thread for users to share their experiences.
