Another Ambiano Electric Griddle is Coming to Aldi

EDITOR’S NOTE: Read our full review of the griddle here.
I recently attended a pancake fundraiser meal at a small nonprofit. A crew of volunteers preparing the pancakes worked on about half a dozen electric griddles. The electric griddles were efficient at making pancakes for a small crowd. The volunteers kept busy pouring batter, adding toppings like blueberries or chocolate chips, and flipping and serving the pancakes.
Electric griddles are also useful when we’re camping because we can easily set one up at our picnic table and plug it into our campsite’s electric hookup. Electric griddles can also be good for cooking at home because they offer more cooking space than a traditional skillet or stovetop griddle, and they have even heat distribution. Besides cooking pancakes, griddles are also great for cooking burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, French toast, eggs, and more.
Aldi sells electric griddles from time to time. In 2023, they sold an electric griddle with a titanium ceramic coating. That same year, they also sold a 2-in-1 electric grill and griddle.
This year, Aldi is once again selling an electric griddle. This time, it features a titanium non-stick coating.
What We Know:
The Ambiano Electric Griddle (Product Code: 830003) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering for this if it’s sold out at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in stores on March 13th, 2024.
The Ambiano Electric Griddle cost $19.99 at the time of publication. That’s on the cheaper end compared to other electric griddles on Amazon.
Here’s more information about the Aldi griddle:
- Features 7 adjustable power levels
- Features titanium non-stick coating for easy cleaning
- Includes dishwasher safe drip tray
- 1500W
This is sold under the Ambiano brand. That’s not a company. Instead, it’s the private label Aldi uses for home goods and some kitchen products.
What We Don’t Know:
I haven’t yet purchased this griddle, so I don’t know how well it works. I plan to pick one up as soon as these arrive in my local stores, so look for a full review later. In the meantime, this open thread serves as a place where readers can discuss the griddle.

The lower the side handles the easier using spatulas to turn the pancakes. These look pretty low. Buying an off brand such as this could pose a problem if you need replacement parts such as a thermostat, or if you have a problem with the surface coating.
