Belmont Cheesecake

Cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts. It’s a creamy, rich treat that never gets old, especially because it can be made with so many different flavors or toppings, from plain to fruity to chocolatey.

It can be a bit pricey to purchase cheesecake at a restaurant, but fortunately Aldi sells cheesecake that you don’t have a pay a lot for.

Belmont Cheesecake

Belmont Cheesecake cost $1.99 at the time of publication for a 6-oz. container with two slices.

This cheesecake is a Regular Buy, which means Aldi sells it all year. (Aldi also sells other types of cheesecake, including cheesecake bites, as limited-time specials at different points throughout the year.)

Belmont Cheesecake comes in three flavors: New York Style, Strawberry Swirl, and Turtle. I purchased one container of each flavor for my family to enjoy for Christmas.

Each container has two small slices of cheesecake, and the nutrition label says that one container is one serving, but you could easily share this cheesecake if you’re trying to watch your calories. Sharing might be a good idea because every flavor is high in saturated fat and added sugars. Because the cheesecake comes in a small container, it’s also great for eating on the go and packing in a lunch box or picnic cooler.

This cheesecake is kosher and is sold frozen. It should be stored in the freezer until you’re ready to eat it. For best results, thaw in the refrigerator. Place any leftovers back in the refrigerator and eat within seven days.

The primary ingredients are pasteurized milk and cream, sugar, wheat flour, soybean oil, and pasteurized eggs. This also contains some ingredients you wouldn’t put in cheesecake you make at home, including corn syrup and carrageenan. You can click on the photos of the nutrition labels below to view the full list of ingredients for each flavor.

Keep reading for a closer look at each of the flavors.
