Aldi just dropped its first batch of Christmas decorations and all sorts of items to help get you in the spirit for the winter holidays. The most recent weekly ad features two-foot-tall LED tabletop Christmas trees, mini wreaths, assorted LED village buildings, gnomes, ornaments, novelty string lights, holiday figurines, and more.
One of the more eye-catching Christmas decorations is a snow globe candle that comes in several colors and scents. It features a scented candle in a decorative ceramic or glass jar, and the lid is a small snow globe fastened onto a wooden base. Inside the snow globe is a quaint winter scene with a house, two trees, and plenty of snowflakes.

The Huntington Home Snow Globe Candle (Product Code: 709849) is and Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and once that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back next year. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not in stock at your local store.
The snow globe candles are scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores on either October 22nd or October 25th of 2023, depending on whether your local store’s weekly ad goes into effect on Sundays or Wednesdays.

The 7.05-ounce Aldi snow globe candles are not an exact replica of other candles on the market as far as I can tell, but I did notice that Anthropologie sells a similar 11.5-ounce snow globe candle for $38 at the time of writing. Sam’s Club also sells a larger 26-ounce snow globe candle for around $20 at the time of writing.
Going by ounces, the Aldi snow globe candle is about $1 per ounce. The Anthropologie snow globe candle is about $3.30 per ounce, and the Sam’s club snow globe candle is about 77 cents per ounce. That puts the Aldi candle in the mid-priced range.
Something important I noticed when researching the snow globe candles from Sam’s Club is that several customer reviews mention that the globes don’t contain water. I couldn’t find information to confirm whether the Anthropologie snow globe candle doesn’t contain water either, but it looks like it might not.
With that said, the Aldi snow globe candles do not contain water either. That seems to be how these types of candles are often designed.

What We Don’t Know:
I haven’t yet purchased any of these candles, but I might buy some as soon as they arrive in my local stores. In the meantime, I don’t know how well these candles burn, how strongly they are scented, or how long they last. I also don’t know what these candles are made of, although many Aldi candles are a soy blend. We write open threads to provide readers with a place to discuss Aldi products.
