SOHL Furniture Bamboo Garment Rack Coming to Aldi

Fall can be a great time to get your home organized for the coming cold months when you’ll be spending more time indoors. If you’re looking to get your indoor space in order, Aldi often sells products to help with that, whether you’re shopping for tote bins, storage carts, baskets, storage ottomans, or even garment racks.

The discount grocer has sold a few different types of garment racks over the years. I purchased an expandable garment rack a while back. Aldi has also sold a unique corner garment rack to fit a specific type of space.

Most recently, Aldi is selling a more upscale garment rack made of bamboo. Here’s a closer look.

What We Know:

SOHL Furniture Bamboo Garment Rack

The SOHL Furniture Bamboo Garment Rack. (Clothing and hangers not included.)

The SOHL Furniture Bamboo Garment Rack (Product Code: 709813) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store receives one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back again at some later point. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products not currently in stock at your local store.

This garment rack is scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores on either September 24th or September 27th of 2023, depending on whether your store puts out new specials on Sundays or Wednesdays.

The garment rack cost $29.99 at the time of publication. That’s cheaper than other similarly sized bamboo garment racks on Amazon at the time of writing, with other brands costing at least $40 and going up from there.

Here’s more information about the Aldi garment rack:

  • Perfect to organize clothes, shoes, and accessories in an entryway, bedroom, or mudroom
  • Foldable design to save space
  • Dimensions: 40.94″ L x 18.1″ W x 64.6″ H

This is sold under the SOHL Furniture brand, which is not a company. Instead, it’s the private label Aldi uses for furniture.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t purchased this rack, so we don’t know how easily it assembles or how durable it is. We also don’t know what kind of weight limits it has. We write open threads so readers can discuss Aldi products.

  1. I bought the Sohl Furniture Bamboo Garment Rack today. The box was tape sealed. When I got home, I emptied the many parts on the floor. There was NO instructions/manual. I searched the Manuals/Warranties link on the Aldi website, with no success. I searched the Internet for an instruction manual with no success. I called Aldi customer service and was told to return the awkward box of pieces to the store. They could not help getting a digital copy of the instructions. It was a major pain repacking the box.

  2. Mine came with instructions but not hardware!!!!

  3. I need directions as well!

  4. I had to use my own wood glue to get the bars of the bottom folding rack to stay attached to the side pieces that were suppose to friction fit. It kept falling apart. I did have instructions and overall it was easy with addition of a little glue.

  5. I purchased this Aldi bamboo rack bc it allowed me to put a few outfits together for work each week. Easy peasy…NO lemon sqeezy! My boyfriend and I have walked away from putting it together twice after trying for hours to just get the middle bamboo rods to stay in place! Every time we pick it up the rods not secured by nails fall. These instructions are over complicated mixing numbers and letters and there is no video showing how to make these pieces stay. Pay an extra $10 and get a more reliable product. My last ditch effort is wood glue but if that doesn’t work, it’s going back to Aldi. I’ve had better luck putting together furniture from IKEA. Thankfully I did get the instruction manual and hardware. Do better Aldi

  6. Purchased this rack today and were missing the bamboo end caps that keep the top part of the rack secured. I searched in the manual and even just Google searches to get support for missing parts, and came up with nothing. Looks like we’ll be returning the rack also.

  7. I bought the bamboo garment rack, but it was missing one of the bamboo caps for the top, not sure if there is a way to get one.
