ICEE Maker Machine and Starter Kit Arrives at Aldi

What’s possibly more fun than buying an ICEE from a gas station, fast food restaurant, or concession stand? How about making your own slushie ICEE drink at home?

Also, what could be more random than an ICEE Maker showing up in the middle aisle at Aldi? That’s right. The discount grocer — known for selling everything from greenhouses to swimming pools to air fryers — is selling an ICEE Maker this week.

What We Know:

This ICEE Maker Machine and Starter Kit is an Aldi Find, which means it’s in stores for a short time only. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is not in stock at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive at Aldi May 14th, 2025.

The ICEE Maker Machine and Starter Kit cost $29.99 in May of 2025. That’s cheaper than similar slushie makers on Amazon.

This Aldi ICEE Maker looks just like one that Walmart sells, except the Walmart one is red rather than blue. The Walmart ICEE Maker cost $54.99 in May of 2025. The Walmart version comes with cups and straws, similar to the Aldi version. However, the Aldi version also includes blue raspberry syrup. Considering all that, the Aldi one is the better deal. The ICEE Maker on Walmart’s website has 3.6 out of 5 stars.

Aldi does not sell extra bottles of ICEE syrup for this machine. You can, though, find ICEE syrup at Walmart or Amazon. You can also find extra ICEE brand cups and straws on Amazon.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried this machine, so we don’t whether it is easy to use or how well it works. We write open threads to provide readers with a place to talk about Aldi products and ask questions.
