When I first graduated from college, I purchased a sofa from a local furniture store. For two decades, that sofa was the anchor of my living room across two residences, a place where I would sit to watch a baseball game or talk when a friend came over to visit. Like any furniture, the sofa eventually wore out, and I replaced it for something better suited to my living space and family needs.

Wear and tear is inevitable on a sofa, whether from use or from sunlight. Some people try to prolong the use of their sofas by covering them. Plastic sofa covers are a popular option, but not everyone likes the look and feel of those. Another option — and one that can look more natural — is a fabric sofa cover.

You can find sofa covers — including fabric ones — at various retailers, including big box stores and online retailers. And, because Aldi seemingly sells everything at some point as a limited buy, Every once in a while the grocer has been known to sell fabric covers.

What We Know:

The KIRKTON HOUSE Snugfit Sofa Cover is an Aldi Find. Each store gets a single shipment, and once it’s sold out, you won’t be able to get it in stores again until it comes back, whenever that might be. If you can’t find one at your local Aldi, you’re out of luck for now.

In 2026, Aldi sold the sofa cover for $24.99. That’s the same price it went for in 2025, and is on par with how much we’ve seen these kinds of covers go for on Amazon.

In 2026, it came in three colors: light gray, dark gray, and beige.

Aldi usually sells these alongside loveseat covers and armchair covers. The sofa cover is typically more expensive than the other covers.
