When I occasionally stay in hotels on vacations, I’ve noticed that many of the bedside lamps are actually attached to the wall. Arranging the lighting this way helps to free up valuable nightstand space for things like clocks, phones and chargers, books or Kindles, sound machines, eyeglasses, and all the other things we travel with.
Not only are wall sconce lights useful in hotels. They can also be a good idea in certain spaces at home, whether that’s in the bedroom above the night tables, in the living room near a favorite reading chair, or anywhere else you can use a little extra light.
Aldi is selling a wall sconce if you’re in the market for one.
What We Know:
The Huntington Home Wall Sconce (Product Code: 708783) cost $24.99 in April of 2023. That’s on the cheaper end for wall sconces on Amazon.
This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets just one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone unless Aldi decides to bring them back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not in stock at your local store.
This is sold under the Huntington Home brand, which is not a company. Instead, it’s the private label Aldi uses for various home goods such as desk lamps, home décor, robotic floor dusters, and more.
This is the second lamp Aldi has sold recently that can be either plugged in or hardwired. Aldi sold a pendant light in February of 2023 with both installation options.
Here’s more information about the wall sconce, according to Aldi:
- You can choose to plug it into a wall outlet for an easy installation in any room, or hardwire for a clean look
- Reduce tabletop clutter and add balance to a room
- White lampshade creates a soft glow
- Available in black finish with gold accents
- Dimensions: 4″ L x 6.5″ W x 7″ H
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t purchased this wall sconce, so we don’t know how easy it is to install or how well it works. At the time of publication, Aldi had not yet published information about whether this comes with a warranty. We write open threads to give readers an opportunity to talk about Aldi products.
