Simply Nature Organic Gut Harmony and Gut Revival Prebiotic Herbal Tea
EDITOR’S NOTE: We reviewed these teas in 2025. Aldi sold the same teas in February of 2026 for $3.19, which is slightly up from $2.99 in 2025.
My husband and I drink a lot of tea each day. Different types of teas, including black tea, herbal tea, and green tea, can all come with their own health benefits. In addition, there is something therapeutic about sitting down with a steaming mug.
When I ventured out to Aldi this week, I discovered some unique teas in the limited-time specials aisle. These are prebiotic teas.
Not to be confused with probiotics (live microorganisms or “good bacteria” that improve gut health, found in foods like yogurt), prebiotics are nutrients that gut bacteria break down. They help stimulate growth of helpful intestinal bacteria. Prebiotics are found naturally in some foods such as asparagus, onions, tomatoes, chicory, and dandelion greens, to name a few.
Chicory happens to be one of the main ingredients in both of the prebiotic teas Aldi is selling. One of the teas also contains dandelion. Ingredients in these teas also include turmeric, licorice, and fennel, which may have prebiotic properties.
The Aldi prebiotic teas come in two varieties: Gut Harmony and Gut Revival. I picked up a box of each to try.
Simply Nature Organic Gut Harmony Prebiotic Herbal Tea and Simply Nature Organic Gut Revival Prebiotic Herbal Tea are both Aldi Finds. That means they’re only in stores for a short time. Each store should get one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone unless Aldi decides to bring them back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering for these if they’re out of stock at your local store.
(Also of note, we have never seen Aldi advertise these among its weekly Aldi Finds. When Aldi does this, we call it a stealth release. Aldi stealth released these in February of 2025 and again in February of 2026.)
These are sold under the Simply Nature brand, which is not a company. It’s the name Aldi puts on various organic or better-for-you products, which it sources from different suppliers.
We buy Aldi products to review with our own money. These teas cost $2.99 per 0.85-ounce box at our local store in early 2025. Each box contains 16 tea bags, which came out to about 19 cents per tea bag. As of 2026, these are $3.19 per box, or around 20 cents per tea bag.
The tea is caffeine free and was packed in Sri Lanka.
The boxes say these are certified organic by CU. That appears to be Control Union, which bills itself as a “leader in organic certification services.”

Ingredients for the Gut Harmony tea are organic fennel, organic chicory root, organic turmeric, organic licorice, organic coriander, organic ginger, natural mango flavor, and natural pineapple flavor.
Ingredients for the Gut Revival tea are organic chicory root, organic fennel, organic licorice, organic dandelion, natural orange flavor, and natural vanilla flavor.
The ingredients for these look fairly good.
Brewing instructions are simple. Place on tea bag into a mug or cup. Steep in hot water for 3-4 minutes. (The tea bags are individually packaged in paper-style wrappers.)
I tried the Gut Harmony tea in the orange box first. The package features pictures of mango and pineapple, and this tea has tropical notes. The licorice gives it a hint of natural sweetness, while the ginger gives it a mild bite. This is a good herbal tea.
Next up was the Gut Revival tea in the purple box. I was not expecting this particular tea to taste so good. First of all, it smells lovely, with notes of vanilla. Second, it has a complex flavor with some natural sweetness. It tastes almost a bit like an herby orange dreamsicle. This is my favorite of the two prebiotic teas.
The Verdict:
Simply Nature Organic Gut Harmony Prebiotic Herbal Tea and Organic Gut Revival Prebiotic Herbal Tea feature prebiotic ingredients such as chicory root and dandelion, along with fennel, licorice, and turmeric. The Gut Harmony tea has some tropical vibes with natural mango and pineapple flavors, while the Gut Revival tea includes natural orange and vanilla flavors. We like both teas, but we’re especially partial to the Gut Revival tea, which has a lovely vanilla scent and flavor.

Great review .
My husband and I agree 100 .
Btw . I love your blog and think you give great honest reviews.
Thank you!
I absolutely fell in love with both of these gut prebiotic teas from the first sip. I have over 50 different teas in my collection. I have stopped drinking all of them. These are so good I went back and bought the last 8 boxes. Can someone please tell me how I can aquire more?
Desperately seeking Simply Nature Gut teas.
They were a limited-time special exclusive to Aldi. I’m not sure if there’s another tea brand that sells something similar at other retailers.
idk but if you find them again let me know too lol
Did you have any luck finding these teas? My husband and I are still looking.
I haven’t seen these in Aldi stores since February of 2025. It’s possible Aldi might bring them back on an annual cycle, in January/February of 2026, but Aldi tends to be pretty quiet about whether they’ll bring back certain products.
Chicory root? Does it have any coffee undertone?
I don’t think so. It just tastes like herbal tea to me.
I only bought 4 boxes – 2 of each – just in case I did not like them. I am, just now, returning from Aldi (on a mission to purchase at least an entire display case of these teas) but boo-hoo! Sooo good! My husband, who is a coffee drinker, tasted my teas and WANTED MORE over his coffee. I too had a concern for the “natural” flavors but considered all the other good things about these teas. I pray that the Aldi Powers That Be will bring these teas back, especially since …my husband is NOW DRINKING MY TEAS!!!
That’s hilarious! I hope, for your sake and your husband’s sake, that Aldi brings these back at some point.
What can we do to get these tea back, Rachael please?
Try contacting Aldi: https://www.aldireviewer.com/contact-aldi/
I bought the but revival tea and will be returning today to buy more! Can someone please tell me the health benefits of these teas?
My husband and I have been in every store trying to find this tea!!! I really hope they will bring it back. I only which I knew it was never returning. We would have bought the rest of the boxes on shelves.
I absolutely loved both of these Guy Revival and Gut Harmony teas and couldn’t find them again after 1 purchase 2 boxes each. So hope and pray ALDI or another store picks these up.
Has anyone been able to find the gut harmony in a different brand?? I’m almost out 😭
We spotted both of these teas back at Aldi the week of February 11th, 2026. They were unadvertised, but we found them on the middle aisle shelves.
Rachel, I love Gut Revival tea and Aldi’s price, but I cannot find it anywhere.
E Bay has a twin pack with Gut Harmony for $29.99 which I find terribly overpriced.
If anyone finds Gut Revival, please let us know where.
Thank you
