Squishmallows Holiday Slippers

The Squishmallows craze has officially hit Aldi. From the Squishmallows 12-day Advent Calendar, to traditional Squishmallows, to … slippers. I’ve never had much of a Squishmallow collection, but the Advent calendar this year won me over. Then I decided to pick up the slippers as well when I spotted them in stores the other week.
The Squishmallow Holiday Slippers are $9.99, and they were an Aldi Find. This means each store gets one shipment, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. You can’t buy Aldi products online if they’re sold out at your local store. The slippers were an Aldi Find the week of December 4th, 2024, so the selection may be starting to dwindle.
The slippers were available in both children’s and adult women’s sizes, ranging from children’s 11/12 to ladies’ 8/9. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5, and the 8/9s fit perfectly, but the sizes are pretty limited.
They were available in 4 designs: cat, fox, unicorn, and hot cocoa. I initially bought the foxes, then I went back a week later and picked up the cats.
When looking online, you can find non-holiday themed Squishmallows slippers for $15 to $30 depending on where you shop. I mostly only found other holiday-specific Squishmallows slippers on Ebay for around $25, so Aldi is the best deal.

One thing to note is that when removing the packaging from the slippers, you have to rip the cardboard tag off the soles of the slippers; otherwise the plastic strings get stuck, and your only option is to cut them as short as you can.
I don’t wear slippers all that often, but since buying the first pair of Squishmallows slippers, I don’t think I’ve gone a day without them. They’re really comfortable, and they’re undeniably cute. I’ve had slippers in the past that are so fluffy on the outside, they pick up dirt and dust everywhere, but I haven’t had that problem with these.
Like all slippers, as I continued to wear them, they started to stretch out, but they’re not too loose. They’ve lasted for a few weeks so far, and if you’re only planning on getting them out for the holidays, they might last you a few years.
When I went back to buy my second pair more than a week after they were released, I was surprised to see they mostly had just kids’ sizes left. I only saw two or three adult pairs. Either the adult sizes were really popular, or stores got more kids’ slippers than adult. Either way, if these interest you, act fast.
The Verdict:
The Squishmallow Holiday Slippers are $9.99 and an Aldi Find. I will happily be wearing these all season long. The fact that they’re both cute and comfortable make them well worth the price. They’re the best deal I could find, and they’re great for kid and adult Squishmallow fans alike.
