This Week at Aldi: The Ad for September 15, 2021

Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi ad. Note that, in our area, the ad takes effect on Wednesday, but in some areas it may take effect as early as today, Sunday.

This week’s print ad is smaller, which has been the trend at Aldi for the last couple of months. This is likely due to the shipping delays all retailers are facing now. Be aware, though, that Aldi appears to be quietly stocking some items that were never advertised, so you don’t know what surprises you may find when you visit Aldi in person.

This week’s theme is pulse oximeters, pet items, bedding, tech, and miscellaneous items for around the home.

The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:

• Welby Pulse Oximeter, $29.99. This device clips easily and painlessly to your finger and monitors heart rate and oxygen levels. It’s easy to read with a comfort fit, ten adjustable brightness levels, sixty-eight pulse rate measurements, a multi-directional screen, soft silicone padding, and simple one-button operation that is noninvasive with no pricking. Features automatic power off and includes lanyard, carrying case, and batteries. Pulse oximeters have become popular during the pandemic as a way to keep tabs on oxygen levels, and Aldi sold this same pulse oximeter in February of 2021, although at a lower price.
