Zero Brands Strawberry Cream Bars

If you head to the freezers at Aldi at this time of year, you’ll likely find an endless array of different frozen treats to celebrate the summer. I tend to see ice cream bars more than anything else, and this week, one particular brand caught my eye.

I’ve been on a streak recently reviewing healthier alternatives to otherwise very sugary foods, such as soda or, more recently, low calorie ice cream bars. Most of what I write about are Aldi house brands, but the strawberry bars I saw a few days ago aren’t from an Aldi private label.

Zero Brands is a company specifically dedicated to zero-sugar ice cream bars. Funnily enough, when I visited their website, there was a pop-up at the top that said these strawberry cream bars would be at Aldi for a limited time, and those are what I’ll be covering here.

The Zero Brands Strawberry Cream Bars are $4.49 for a 4-pack, or $1.12 per bar. I bought these myself.

They’re an Aldi Find, meaning they’re only in stores for a limited time. Each store gets one shipment and once they’re gone, they’re gone. And from what I’ve found, Aldi is the only place selling these bars, so you can’t order these online if they’re out of stock at your local Aldi.

When I searched for Zero Brands, I came across a site that is run by UpStar Nutrition, Inc., a company out of Scottsdale, Arizona. The company address is the same as the address for Keto Pint, an ice cream brand that is sold in many grocery stores, including regional grocers in our area. As of mid-2025, Zero Brands only sells a few flavors, and Aldi is the only retailer where any Zero Brands bars — strawberry, in this case — are sold. My guess, then, is that Keto Pint and Zero Brands have the same parent company, and Zero Brands appears to be a relatively new line from that company.

The box advertises a lot: zero added sugar, zero artificial flavors, zero sugar alcohols, real milk and cream, gluten-free, keto-friendly, and probiotics, to name a few.

One bar is one serving, and each bar has 60 calories, 4 grams of total fat, 2 grams of saturated fat, 60 milligrams of sodium, 9 grams of total carbohydrates, 2 grams of dietary fiber, 2 grams of total sugars, no added sugars, obviously, and 3 grams of protein.

The back of the box states one bar has 3 grams of net carbs. It states 9 grams of carbs minus 2 grams of fiber minus 4 grams of allulose equals 3 grams of net carbs. The box also indicates this is not a low-calorie food.

I really liked these bars, and everyone else who helped me with taste testing seemed to agree. It’s easy for foods with sugar substitutes to take on a very artificial taste, but these were creamy and had a fresh strawberry taste. There were also bits of strawberry visible in the bar. If I hadn’t known they were zero sugar, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

The Verdict:

Zero Brands Strawberry Cream Bars are $4.49 and are a limited-time Aldi Find. They exceeded my expectations, and it was quite the experience finding out more about the brand. If they ever partner with Aldi again, I’d love to see how the other flavors compare. For now, I’d definitely recommend them. If you want to try them, act fast before they sell out.
