Welby TENS-EMS Massage Device On Its Way to Aldi

EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2025.

The Welby product line at Aldi includes a variety of health and personal care products. It encompasses products that Aldi stocks all the time such as vitamins, supplements, allergy relief, and pain relief. The Welby brand also includes rotating limited-time specials such as thermometers and pulse oximeters.

Welby is not a company. Instead, it’s the name Aldi puts on its various health-related products that are sourced from various suppliers.

The latest weekly Aldi ad features a couple of Welby-branded products, including a hot/cold therapy neck and shoulder wrap, as well as a TENS-EMS massage device.

Here, I’m taking a closer look at the TENS-EMS massage device. TENS and EMS both involve applying an electrical current to parts of the body to treat pain or stimulate muscles.

What We Know:

Welby TENS-EMS Massage Device

The Welby TENS-EMS Massage Device is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store should get one shipment, and it’s gone after that sells out. Aldi does not offer online ordering for this if it’s not in stock at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive in stores on December 10th, 2025.

The Welby TENS-EMS Massage Device cost $24.99 in 2025. That’s the same price Aldi sold it for in 2024. That’s in the lower range of prices for TENS and EMS units on Amazon.

Here’s more information, according to Aldi:

  • Features 60 pre-installed programs
  • Includes 50 TENS programs for pain relief
  • Includes 10 EMS programs for muscle stimulation
  • Includes 10 Massage programs for relaxation
  • Features easy-to-use large buttons
  • Lit display screen
  • Offers lock function for safety
  • Includes quick start keys for 4 body zones: back, knee, foot, and hand pain

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried this massage device, so we don’t know how well it works or how long it lasts. We write open threads so readers can discuss Aldi products.

  1. I purchased the Aldi welby tens, ems device on 12/12/2025. Need to know what one cleans the electrode pads with and where and how to order pads . The telephone number provided for after service does not name the product. It states another product. The web site is not user friendly.

  2. 5 stars! I bought the Aldi Tens machine about a year ago. While it helped my arthritis pain some, it wasn’t really a game changer. But….. Last week my wife developed extremely painful muscle spasms in her back. An ER visit and prescription drugs didn’t help. An online search indicated that Tens sometimes helped, so we gave it a try. The relief was instant! She used it almost constantly the first day, then several times a day until the spasms stopped.

It came with batteries and a couple of sets of electrode pads. The stickiness of the pads wears out after several uses, but generic replacements are inexpensive and available on Amazon. The AAA batteries last a lot longer than I expected. The manual is microprint but comprehensive to the point of being confusing, so you will need to do some experimenting, but once you find a setting you like it remains in memory and will return to that setting when you power on. The machine has 2 independent channels, so you can use it on 2 different muscles if needed. The programs begin with the power setting at zero. Once everything is plugged in pressing the power button up starts the 30 minute program. There is a digital power indicator for each channel. You simply increase the power to the highest point you find comfortable and let it run; it will automatically shut off when the program is done. Electrode placement is also somewhat optional. In my wife’s case we put one pad a few inches above the painful muscle and the other a few inches below it. The sensation is like a finger tapping you.

As I recall, the machine was about $30. My wife says it’s worth it’s weight in gold!
