Bauhn Portable Bluetooth Speaker Headed to Aldi

We’ve seen a lot of portable speakers of all types show up in the middle aisle at Aldi over the years. There was the recent 2 in 1 water bottle and Bluetooth speaker. We’ve also seen a Bluetooth speaker with earbuds, an ice bucket wireless speaker, and a speaker that came with its own carabiner, to name just a few.
The latest speaker to be highlighted in the Aldi weekly ad is a portable Bluetooth speaker. It comes in several colors and features a carrying strap. It’s sold under the Bauhn brand. There is no company called Bauhn. Instead, that’s the name Aldi puts on a lot of its tech products to give them a uniform look, and Aldi may source those products from various suppliers.
What We Know:
The Bauhn Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Product Code: 710551) is an Aldi Find, so that means it’s in stores for just a short time. Each store gets a single shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back next year. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not currently in stock at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive at Aldi on June 5th, 2024.
The Bauhn Portable Bluetooth Speaker cost $24.99 at the time of publication. That’s on the lower end of prices for other portable Bluetooth speakers I found on Amazon.

What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried this Bluetooth speaker, so we don’t know how well it works. Also, Aldi has not yet published information about whether this comes with any kind of warranty. We write open threads to offer readers a place to discuss Aldi products.

I just bought this and it shows it has a runtime of 1 to 3.5 hours.
I bought it and it’s now unusable. I received a call while my phone was paired to it. I couldn’t get the speaker turned off so I could answer the phone. Then it started making a ringing phone noise that wouldn’t stop. It wouldn’t turn off or stop the ringing. I finally stuck it in a desk drawer hoping the battery would run down. The ringing finally stopped but now it won’t do anything but flash the lights. Dead.
Same. It lights up. Won’t pair. I’m so aggravated
We bought it. Used it ONCE. It worked GREAT.
Now it won’t pair to anything. Won’t even register on my phone or daughter’s phone as an option to pair. Really frustrating.
Not sure if Aldi will return without packaging and receipt. We didn’t keep it because it DID work. Ugh
I’ve used this once or twice a week for the last 2 months, and here’s my experience:
– Battery life is at least 2 hours
– Sound is pretty good – bass is decent but not bone-shaking
– USB-C charging is quick
– No wired connection – Bluetooth only
– The flashing LEDs can be turned off, but you have to do it with every use
The small drawbacks are made up for by the low price. (I like it enough to consider mods – adding a larger battery and seeing if a wired connection can be added).
We have bought 3 of these so far. They are great! Sound is comparable to a JBL, or BOOM honestly. Battery life is up to 5 hours. Haven’t had any problems with connectivity, or calls or what others are complaining about. We have 3 only because my husband misplaces things. Lol. They all still function great.
