CASALUX Mosaic Solar Garden Stake

EDITOR’S NOTE: The 2025 Aldi ad listed this as the Belavi Mosaic Solar Garden Stake, but the product itself said CASALUX Mosaic Solar Garden Stake, both on the tag and on the underside of the solar panel. Both Belavi and CASALUX are Aldi house brands, not separate companies.

My wife is an avid gardener. She tends to spaces in our front and back yards, planting and cultivating everything from native plants to vegetables. She likes accenting her raised beds and landscaping spaces in various ways, including adding curios that make them look even cooler than they would with the plants alone.

Aldi has sold plenty of garden stakes, and plenty of solar lights. Aldi occasionally has even sold solar garden stakes. In 2025, we saw where Aldi was selling another mix of the two.

The Belavi Mosaic Solar Garden Stake is an Aldi Find. You can only find it in stores for a short time, and once it’s sold out, you won’t be able to get it again until it comes back, whenever that may be. Aldi seems to shake up the designs of these from year to year, so if you miss out on this particular style, you may be out of luck.

In 2025, Aldi sold these for $5.99 each. While you might be able to find something like this at a local hardware store, I wouldn’t count on them being this cheap, and Amazon certainly doesn’t have anything in this price range.

The stakes come in six styles: Americana, colorful flowers, gold flakes, multi-color square, pastel leaf, and red scales. We picked up pastel leaf using our own money and put it through the paces.

According to the product package, all of them measure 4.53” long x 3.74″ wide x 30” high. They come with one pre-installed cool white LED light and one pre-installed Ni-Cd rechargeable battery. According to Aldi, they need about 10 hours of sunlight for a full charge.

There is no listed manufacturer or warranty. The packaging says they are made in China.

It comes in two pieces held together with twine. The upper piece has the ball and solar panel, while the lower piece has the stake. Assembly is as simple as cutting the twine and affixing the two together.

The only other step is flipping the switch on the bottom of the solar panel to the “ON” position.

We planted the stake in our garden and waited for the sun to go down.

It’s pretty. It’s not the kind of light that illuminates much space around it, but it does create a soft orb that almost floats among the greenery. It’s a neat accent to the space.

The Verdict:

The CASALUX Mosaic Solar Garden Stake is an inexpensive accent to a garden or other green space. It’s very easy to assemble and plant, and it creates a little light just like it’s supposed to. It doesn’t serve much more purpose than that, but it does look cool in the garden at night.
