Aldi Introduces a New Private Label: Kirkton House

Most of what Aldi sells on its shelves are its own brands. These are not separate companies. Instead, they are private labels that Aldi trademarks and then puts on the various items it sells in stores. Those items are made by suppliers (some of them unknown) that agree to brand or re-brand their products under Aldi’s guidelines. In exchange, those suppliers get to sell products on Aldi shelves.

Aldi uses house brands for both its everyday Regular Buys and its limited time Aldi Finds.

We’ve seen Aldi house brands come and go. In 2021, for instance, Aldi added Belavi as a private label for home decor. Meanwhile, Aldi quietly dropped Kitchen Living back in the 2010s in favor of Crofton.

In late 2024, we saw the appearance of a new Aldi house brand. This new brand is Kirkton House, which Aldi appears to be stylizing in all caps as KIRKTON HOUSE.

We found a couple of trademark applications by Aldi for this new brand, one in early 2023 and another one with the all caps stylizing in late 2023. Both include long laundry lists of potential products, from scissors to candles to aprons. It’s hard to say for certain what Aldi will use this label for, but in the early going we’ve seen a lot of upscale-style decor.

Like other house brands, Kirkton House isn’t a company. There isn’t a Kirkton House office you can call. It’s a brand Aldi has created for certain products it sells. Our guess is that this will be an Aldi Find private label.
