Adventuridge Collapsible Tub
EDITOR’S NOTE: We bought reviewed this tub back in 2018. The tub appears unchanged since then. Aldi most recently advertised this for May 13th, 2026, for $7.99. Read our update at the end of this post about how our tub has held up over several years of use.

Aldi sells dozens upon dozens of camping items every summer. The grocer has been doing this as long as we’ve been writing about it. We’ve been continually amazed by the sheer diversity of products, from tents, to cots, to self-inflating mats, to sleeping bags, to fans, to … well, you get the idea.
We’ve owned and tested many of those items over the years and have generally been happy with them. Aldi camping gear has been especially useful during the times when we had to camp on a budget, as the grocer let us stretch our dollar even while out at state parks.
One staple item for us was a product we first bought back in 2018, a collapsible tub.
The Adventuridge Collapsible Tub is an Aldi Find, meaning it’s only in stores for a limited time. Stores each get a single shipment. Once it’s sold out, you won’t be able to get it again until it comes back into stores, which in our experience is typically May or June. If you can’t find it at your local Aldi, you’re out of luck, as the grocer doesn’t ship things through the mail.
Aldi has sold other collapsible products like this one, including a collapsible dish drainer and, in 2025, a collapsible bucket. They all work with a similar principle.
As of 2026, the tub cost $7.99. In 2025, the tub sold for $9.99. It also sold for $9.99 in 2023. We bought it for around $13 in 2018. It comes in various colors from year to year. It’s less than other tubs like this one we can find on Amazon.
The tub is about 5 gallons and has two handles for picking up. The dimensions on the tub are 18.6 x 14.9 x 9.7 inches when it is fully opened and 18.6 x 14.9 x 2.8 inches when it is collapsed.
We originally bought the collapsible tub to use for washing cookware and some dishes while we camp, although it’s also suitable for household use if you need a bucket or storage tub.
If you intend to use this for camping, and if you’re trying to decide between the collapsible tub and the collapsible dish drainer, and if your space is limited — as is often the case with camping — I recommend buying the collapsible tub. Once the tub is emptied and rinsed, it doubles as a good spot to put your wet, clean dishes and cookware; set the tub in the sun and let your dishes dry.
The tub takes a little effort to collapse and open back up again, but it’s not too hard. It has a hard plastic upper rim and hard plastic base, with a more pliable plastic material making up the sides.

It’s big enough that we can wash our camping skillets and pots in it as well as smaller items like the spatula we use to make scrambled eggs on our camp stove. My kids also think it’s fun to wash dishes outdoors using this tub.
Our collapsible tub has lasted through several camping seasons, and we anticipate it will last for many seasons to come.
The Verdict:
The Adventuridge Collapsible Tub is a handy thing for washing dishes while camping or just for storing stuff.
UPDATE (5/8/2026) — We’ve had our collapsible tub for about eight years, and it’s been durable and useful. When we’re not using it on camping trips, we use it for storing various camping supplies at home.

The collapsible bucket is bloody hopeless. The hard rim and soft wall are of different materials that separated within a month of purchase. I have yet to find a glue that works on both materials.
This is returning to Aldi the week of May 22nd, 2024.
This collapsing tub has been a valuable addition to our camping and canoeing trips for the past 5+ years. We use 2- one for wash and one for rinse.
I purchased the collapsible bucket Which is sold about the same time as the tub for a little bit less, but it’s the same technology. It was absolutely indispensable on a camping trip, and it was very compact so it was a no-brainer to pack it into the cargo hold.
