Benner Tea Gift Box Dropping into Aldi

Our home drinks a fair bit of tea.
Rachael is the undisputed champion in the family tea leaderboard. Two cups a day is not out of the ordinary for her, and on certain days you can’t rule out a third cup, either.
I’m a comparative welterweight. I often take a cup to work, but not always. Two cups a day is a sometimes thing. And three? Rare. Still, I do my part.
Our collective tea output is good enough that we can write with confidence about tea, a product Aldi does stock in a number of varieties across both its everyday and limited buys. Whenever Aldi does something new or different in the tea universe, we notice.
We noticed this one.
What We Know:
The Benner Tea Gift Box (Product Code: 712787) is an Aldi Find. It’s only in stores for a limited time, and once it’s sold out, it’s sold out. A holiday item like this won’t be back until the next holiday season, so if you can’t find it in stores, you’re out of luck. Also know that Aldi doesn’t ship products through the mail.
In 2024, the tea gift box cost $5.99. That’s less than anything we could find on Amazon.
The box comes with 48 tea bags. According to Aldi, the package has 8 each of the following 6 varieties:
- Vanilla Caramel Tea
- Cinnamon Pear Tea
- Apple Chai Tea
- Earl Gray Lavender Tea
- Chocolate Chai Tea
- Mandarin Ginger Green Tea
A few, but not all, of these were also in Aldi’s Tea Advent Calendar earlier in the 2024 holiday season.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried out this set yet. For that reason, we’re not ready to talk about what these teas taste like. We hope to get a set, though, and in the meantime we’ve created this open thread for shoppers.
