EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2026.
Aldi allows you to change out bedding seasonally, or any time you want a fresh look, at an affordable price. I’ve got several pieces of Aldi bedding in my house, including quilts, comforters, sheet sets, and even pillows.
One of the most recent pieces of bedding Aldi is offering is a temperature regulating down alternative comforter. It’s a simple-looking white comforter that will match any color or decor scheme in your bedroom.
What We Know:
The KIRKTON HOUSE Temperature Regulating Down Alternative Comforter is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store should receive one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back at some later time. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are sold out at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores on February 18th, 2026.
The KIRKTON HOUSE Down Alternative Comforter cost $29.99 in 2026. That’s also cheaper than most other down alternative comforters I found on Amazon.
The comforter is sold in queen and king sizes. The queen measures 88″ x 92″, while the king measures 106″ x 92″.
Here’s more information, according to Aldi:
- 100% polyester
- HEIQ smart temp technology helps maintain a balanced temperature for a better sleeping Experience
- Moisture wicking
- Anti-microbial fill
- Machine washable
- OEKO-TEX certified
KIRKTON HOUSE is not a company. Rather, it’s the name Aldi puts on various home goods it sells, which it sources from different suppliers.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet purchased this comforter, so we don’t know how well it works, how durable or comfortable it is, or how well it holds up the use and washing. We write open threads to provide our readers with a place to discuss Aldi products.
Did you buy the KIRKTON HOUSE Temperature Regulating Down Alternative Comforter? Tell us what you think of it in the comments below.

I purchased this comforter when it was offered in 2022 and it’s been a great winter addition to the bedroom. That said, after I washed and dried it at home before using it, the filling balled up in many spots – so I absolutely should have opted for a commercial washing machine in a laundromat.
Oh no! That’s good to know.
Aldi is selling this again the week of December 18th, 2024, while supplies last. It’s still $19.99.
