Crane Tabletop Wood Games Return to Aldi

It’s that time of year when many of us are spending a lot of time indoors because it’s getting cold outside. I enjoy winter hikes, ice skating, and other cold-weather activities when I’m properly dressed to protect against the elements. But there’s a limit to how much time you can spend outdoors, and you need some entertainment while inside. There are always television shows and movies, phones and the internet, crafts, and other hobbies.
Another longstanding classic form of indoor entertainment is a tabletop game. I grew up playing Sorry, Candyland, checkers, chess, and Connect 4. My family is fond of the Game of Life.
Aldi is selling an array of tabletop games just in time to ease our winter doldrums … or to give as holiday gifts. These games have the added advantage of being made out of wood for a classic look.
The selection of wooden games Aldi sells can vary from year to year. In 2025, you have your choice of Mini Bean Bag Toss, Four in a Row, Shut the Box, Sling Puck, or Hook and Ring Toss.
What We Know:
Crane Tabletop Wood Games are Aldi Finds, which means they’re only in stores for a short time. Each store receives one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone until next year, if Aldi decides to bring them back then. You can’t order these games online from Aldi if they’re not currently in stock at your local store.
These are scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores on November 26th, 2025.
The Crane Tabletop Wood Games cost $9.99 each in 2025. That’s the same price they cost in 2023 and 2022. That price is also less than other similar wooden tabletop games I found online.
The games in 2025 come with a 2-year warranty. They’re advertised as being for ages 6 and older.

Bean Bag Toss:

- Aldi hasn’t published dimensions for the 2025 game, but in previous years it measured 11″ W x 8.4″ H x 4″ D
Shut the Box:
- Includes game board, 8 dice for 4 player actions, 1 drawstring bag, and 1 user manual
- Classic tabletop game for 1 to 4 players
- Dimensions: 11.6″ L x 11.6″ W x 1.3″ H
Sling Puck:
- Includes one game board, 10 wooden pucks in two colors, 1 drawstring storage bag, and 1 user manual
- No assembly required
- Dimensions: 17.8″ x 12.4″ x 1.3″
Hook and Ring Toss:
- Includes 3-piece wooden game set, 2 screws, and one user manual
- Quick and easy to set up
- A new take on an old classic
- Easy to learn and difficult to master
- Dimensions: 14.3″ x 5.9″ x 13″
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet purchased these games, so we don’t know how well they work or how durable they are. We write open threads to provide readers with a place to discuss Aldi products.
