Aldi has been going all-out lately with self care products such as massagers and heating pads to help you relieve aches and pains or melt away daily stresses (and most of us can agree there are plenty of stressful things happening in the world these days). As always, Aldi seems to know exactly what we need, often before we even realize we need it.

Just last month, the discount grocer sold a massaging heat wrap, and immediately prior to that Aldi sold heated neck and back massagers. Aldi also is known to sell heating pads of various types at different times of year.

The most recent self care items to show up in the Aisle of Shame are a heated pillow and a back and neck heating pad.

What We Know:

Easy Home Heated Pillow or Back and Neck Heating Pad

Easy Home Heated Pillow on the left, Easy Home Back & Neck Heating Pad on the right.

The Easy Home Heated Pillow or Back and Neck Heating Pad (Product Code: 810825) cost $24.99 each at Aldi in March of 2022. This appears to be a lot less than heated pillows or back and neck heating pads that I could find online.

These are Aldi Finds, which means they’re only in stores for a limited time. Aldi won’t ship them to you after they sell out at your local store, so get them when you see them and don’t delay.

Here’s more information about the heated pillow and back and neck heating pad, according to Aldi.

Heating Pad:

  • Suitable for washing in the washing machine at 30 °C (without cable and hand controller)
  • Features 9 temperature and timer settings
  • Automatic shut off adjustable between 10- 90 minutes

Heated Pillow:

  • Features soft flannel fleece (100% polyester)
  • Suitable for washing in the washing machine at 30°C (without cable and hand controller)
  • Features 9 temperature and timer settings

Neither of these products appears to come with a warranty, but the website for Aldi provides a service phone number and email for Wuensche, a common Aldi after-sales and warranty service provider.

What We Don’t Know:

We have not tried the Easy Home Heated Pillow or Back and Neck Heating Pad, so we don’t yet know how well they work or how durable they are. We write open threads to provide a space for readers to share about their experiences with products.

  1. Bought this today to try. One of the main reasons besides the 24.95 price, was that it had up to 9 heat settings, more than any other pad I ever had. I of course started it on 9. I was expecting the heat to be hot at 9, but it was not. It took about 10-15 minutes for it to get to its hottest temperature, and it never gets as hot as some other heating pads I have. It’s also too tight to snap closed around my 16 1/2 inch neck, so I will have to leave it open. Wearing it while lying down is hotter than wearing it sitting up. I’ll give it a week to see if I want to keep it. You also must set a shutdown time or it turns off fast.

  2. It barely gets above body temperature on the hottest setting. Total waste.

  3. I tried the neck/back heating pad today, was not impressed. Level 9 heat was not close to what I expected. It appears to be made for children, the neck opening was way too tight, and the length at the back was way too short. The shoulder heat was very faint. Also, the device beeped constantly. I read the entire user manual, but found no mention of why the device beeps, or how to turn off the beeps. It will be returned to Aldi! I’ve already ordered a different one on Amazon.

  4. Marcie .. I have the Easy Home Heated Pillow and use it every day. Not sure I’m using it correctly. Can someone please review how to correctly operate it?

    • I just put it behind my lower back in my recliner and I love it! I use it every night while watching TV. It takes the kinks out of my lower back.

  5. I loved this pillow until my puppy chewed the cord to it. If I could find a replacement cord that would be great but I can’t even find a replacement for the pillow.
It worked well for me and was not too expensive. I sure would like to know where to get another one!

  6. I love this pillow. I have chronic back pain and this pillow has a permanent place on my sofa ready for use at any time and that is quite often. After much use, it has gone out–I would really like another one. Any suggestions, can I get another one online from Aldis? I haven’t seen them in the store since I bought mine.

    • If they’re not at your local store, you’re unfortunately out of luck. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that aren’t currently in stock at your area store. It’s always possible Aldi could bring them back at some point, but we don’t know if or when that might happen.
