Each summer, Aldi preps its middle aisle to sell various back-to-school items and accessories. Some of them cater to the K-12 kid crowd, like backpacks. Others are aimed at teachers. Still others are meant for the college student in your life that’s on their way back to the dorms or college apartments.

Some items are less obviously meant for back-to-school … but are suspicious enough in their timing that we wonder. That’s how we felt when Aldi brought magnetic wall games to stores. Are they for the college apartment fridge, the classroom, or just for anyone? The answer could be one of the above, or all three. Whatever your opinion, Aldi sometimes stocks them.

What We Know:

KIRKTON HOUSE Magnetic Wall Games are an Aldi Find. Each store gets just one shipment, and once that shipment is sold out, you won’t be able to get it again until it comes back to stores, whenever that might be. If you don’t spot them in your local Aldi, you’re out of luck for now.

In 2026, Aldi sold these wall games for $9.99 each. That’s considerably less than the prices we see on Amazon.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t tried out these magnetic wall games, so we don’t know how easily they set up, how well they hold to surfaces, or how long they last. That’s why we’ve created this open thread for users to share experiences.
