Wicker is the world’s oldest known furniture method. Humans have been using wicker furniture and accessories for at least 5,000 years, from chairs to baskets. Made originally out of plant material, wicker was both lightweight and sturdy, making it a practical option.

Wicker has evolved over the centuries — today’s wicker, for example, is often synthetic — but it remains a popular option, especially when it comes to outdoor décor. It is often found on patios, in sunrooms, or near swimming pools. You might also find the occasional wicker item inside, too.

Because wicker is most popular outdoors, wicker furniture tends to be most visible during the spring and summer months, when shoppers go hunting for new items to spruce up their open-air spaces. You might find them at the seasonal section of your local big box store or hardware store, and you can of course find them online.

Aldi, which is always rotating in something new in the middle aisle, is known to stock outdoor furniture, too, including of the wicker kind.

What We Know:

Belavi 3-Piece Wicker Patio Set

The Belavi 3-Piece Wicker Patio Set (Product Code: 706438) is a limited time Aldi Find. Each store gets a single shipment, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Aldi doesn’t ship online either, so if you can’t find them in your local store, you’re out of luck.

At the time of this post, this set costs $329.99, which is one of the more expensive Aldi products we’ve seen. It’s also on the more expensive side for patio sets I can find online, although it is by no means the costliest out there.

Here is more information about the set from Aldi:

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t tested this set, so we can’t speak to setup, comfort, or durability. We’ve created this open thread for users to share their thoughts.
