Pembrook Kitchen Calendars are Coming to Aldi

Pembrook Kitchen Calendar
One of the 2022 calendars.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2024.

Planners and calendars have a bit of a cult following at Aldi.

At different times, the grocer sells several varieties of planners and calendars, including some basic hardback planners that are “date agnostic” and allow you to write in dates so you can use the planner any time of year. I picked up a few of these planners earlier this year and use them to chart weekly tasks and accomplishments.

Aldi also sometimes sells spiral-bound planners that feature specific themes such as parenting, wellness, and affirmation, or even student planners. Many Aldi fans like these planners because they feature page spreads that display the full months and allow for some longer-term planning.

On a different but related note, Aldi also sells some quality, durable wall calendars usually around the New Year. I’ve used them in the past and liked them.

The most recent type of calendar/planner to show up at Aldi offers a unique twist and is specially designed for use in the kitchen.

What We Know:

Pembrook Kitchen Calendar
A 2022 calendar.

The Pembrook Kitchen Calendar (Product Code: 702863) costs $4.99 in January of 2024, which is the same price it sold for in 2022.

This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Aldi won’t ship it to you after it sells out at your local store.

Here’s more information about the 2024 calendar, according to Aldi:

  • Available in four designs including: Floral, Rainbow, Fresh Citrus, and Farm Fresh
  • Features 2024 calendar dates and holidays
  • Each page includes a kitchen tip and tear-off shopping list
  • Includes 53 weekly pages
  • Magnetic

The calendars have space to write a weekly shopping list. In addition, the space allotted for each day looks like it can be used to write out schedules and appointments, or it might be a good spot for writing daily menu plans. Weekly kitchen tips include how to reheat pizza in a skillet or how to get a “squeaky clean” cutting board. The various designs available are attractive and interactive, and these calendars certainly caught our eye.

What We Don’t Know:

We have not yet used one of these kitchen calendars, so we don’t know for sure how helpful they are or how durable they are. Our goal with open thread posts is to provide a space for readers to share about their experiences with a product.

  1. I bought one of these last year and although I love the layout, and the fact that it’s compact and user friendly, the seam on the top split after several uses. I still used it and was pretty satisfied with it overall 🙂 It does really help with meal planning. When I didn’t see them offered at Aldi this year, I went in search of one at another store. I did find one that isn’t dated, which is cool, but it’s smaller and doesn’t have as much writing area. I’ll probably try to grab one at Aldi and save the other one. I’ll just give the kids the older, unused pages to draw on!

  2. I bought the 2023 version and absolutly LOVED it! I’m panicking because they are not in the stores for 2024! Oh no!!

    1. I know! I flippin flappin love this calendar. I’ve only seen the hardbound planners so far. Since using this calendar all year, I want no other. There’s room to write appointments/events for every family member, as well as a place to write a grocery list you can tear off. I’m going to be so sad if the Pembrook kitchen calendar does not return.
