Power Force Toilet Bowl Cleaner

Aldi introduced a new house brand to U.S. shoppers about a year ago. The brand seems to have been around already in Aldi stores in the United Kingdom and in Australia, but it was a more recent thing in the United States. It’s Power Force, and it’s the name Aldi puts on various cleaning products it sells.

I first really noticed the Power Force name when I spotted it on some limited-edition dishwasher cleaning pacs back in early 2025. I noticed Aldi was also selling some spray cleaners with the Power Force name. Before that point, most Aldi cleaning products were sold under the Radiance Aldi house brand.

By late 2025, some Radiance products were still on Aldi shelves, but it looked like Aldi was transitioning to eventually using the Power Force name for everything.

One product that’s changed from the Radiance label to the Power Force label is this toilet bowl cleaner.

We buy Aldi products for review using our own money. I paid $1.89 for a 24-ounce bottle in late 2025. That’s the same price we paid for the toilet cleaner back in 2024 under the old Radiance brand. It comes out to about 8 cents per ounce.

You may have a hard time finding other toilet bowl cleaners for less, with the exception of other store brands such as Walmart’s Great Value.

Power Force isn’t a manufacturer or company. Instead, Aldi simply puts the name on the household cleaning supplies it sells to give the packaging a uniform look. Aldi may source those products from various suppliers.

We reviewed Aldi toilet bowl cleaner under the old Radiance name back in 2024, and it looks like this Power Force toilet cleaner is the same product but simply rebranded. The ingredients are the same, and both the Radiance and Power Force toilet cleaner labels state they were made in Türkiye (Turkey).

Ingredients are water, sodium hypochlorite, cocamine oxide, sodium hydroxide, sodium laurate, sodium silicate, sodium metaperiodate, pigment blue 15, and fragrance. The label states this contains fragrance allergens.

The cleaner includes bleach, and it claims it “destroys tough stains” and “whitens and brightens.”

It works like any other toilet cleaner. Open the child-resistant cap by squeezing the sides of the cap on the indicator symbols and twisting counterclockwise one quarter turn. To reseal, turn the cap clockwise until it’s securely closed.

To clean the toilet, squeeze the bottle around the inner rim of the toilet to coat the inside of the bowl. Scrub the entire bowl with a toilet brush and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Keep children and pets away during this time. Flush the toilet and rinse if needed.

So far, this seems to work like the old Radiance toilet cleaner. It’s all right. We’ll update this post later with any potential additional thoughts as we continue to use this.

The Verdict:

Power Force Toilet Bowl Cleaner appears to be a rebranding of Radiance Toilet Bowl Cleaner at Aldi. The ingredients and country of origin are identical. This isn’t high-end toilet cleaner, but it works fine.
