PurAqua Unsweetened Blackberry Sparkling Water
I try to avoid soda – or you can call it pop, depending on where you live – because of its high sugar content. I also don’t care for beverages containing artificial sweeteners. So when I saw Aldi offering unsweetened flavored sparkling water as a Special Buy, I thought it might be a fun, different thing to try and picked up a case.
This PurAqua Fizzy Fruit Unsweetened Blackberry Sparkling Water came in a cardboard carrying case with four 12-ounce glass bottles. The metal lids screw off but can be rough on the hands, so I used a kitchen towel to cushion my grip.
The water contains zero calories, and the ingredients list is straightforward and simple: carbonated water and natural flavor.
I was looking forward to sampling this sparkling water, but it ended up having only a hint of fruit flavor and tasted slightly bitter. I was done after one bottle, but interestingly, one of my young daughters enjoyed it. I don’t typically drink sparkling water, so I’m unsure if what we tried is typical. I probably won’t be buying it again, though.
The Verdict:
PurAqua Fizzy Fruit Unsweetened Blackberry Sparkling Water has plenty of carbonation and contains no added sugar or artificial sweeteners, but it has very little fruit flavor.
I LOVE the PurAqua Essence Blackberry and Leom waters. I dont want sweet or fizz. My problem is it was a trial thing at my Aldi store and now they arent carrying it. Help!! I need to buy this and cant find it!!
I love the water too, not the fizz just regular for me. I bought the last they had at a store by me and now Everytime in an Aldis store I’m on the hunt!
What can we do to get this back?
I just tried the PurAqua Belle Vie Bold Blackberry Cucumber sparkling water from Aldi. I love it. I hope they keep it stocked so I can continue to buy it.
I don’t like anything “sparkling” sad I wish I could drink it because that’s all everyone has out.
That’s why I loved the flavored water when they had it. Hint water is so good but so expensive.
