Sit Down in the Adventuridge Director’s Chair

If you’re spending time in the outdoors — whether you’re camping, attending a cookout, or watching a parade — it’s essential to have a good place to sit down. Preferably, you want a comfortable, portable chair.

Aldi sells a variety of chairs for the great outdoors during the spring and summer. We’ve seen lightweight portable chairs, hammock chairs, oversized chairs, and basic folding chairs.

In the spring of 2026, Aldi is bringing back a chair it’s sold before: a folding director’s chair.

What We Know:

The Adventuridge Director’s Chair is an Aldi Find. That means it’s in stores for just a short time. Each store should get one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi brings it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering for this if it’s out of stock at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive in stores April 8th, 2026.

The Adventuridge Director’s Chair cost $44.99 in 2026. That’s up from $39.99 in 2025. That’s still quite a bit less than similar folding director’s chairs on Amazon.

The chair is available in beige, blue, or green. It features armrests, and on one side is a small attached table with space for small items. The table also has a cup holder and a phone holder.

This is sold under the Adventuridge brand, which is not a company. It’s the name Aldi puts on much of the outdoor or camping gear it sells to give it a uniform look, although those products are sourced from different suppliers.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried this director’s chair, so we don’t know how easily it sets up or how comfortable or durable it is. Aldi has not published the chair’s dimensions, so we don’t know how “compact” it is. Aldi also has not stated what the chair’s weight limit is, or if it comes with a carrying bag. Additionally, we don’t know if this chair comes with a warranty. We may not know those details until the chairs actually show up in stores.
