Ward Off the Cold with the Easy Home Ceramic Heater with Fan From Aldi

If you live where it gets cold during the winter, you might be looking for supplemental ways to heat your home. Even with central heating, sometimes it can be hard to get the chill out of an exterior or north-facing room, or maybe you have a room that doesn’t get very warm because it’s not as well insulated, or it might be farther from your furnace and warm air just doesn’t get there efficiently. You might even be looking for a way to temporarily heat an unheated room such as a garage or a sunroom.

In all of these situations, a space heater can be useful. Aldi sells a variety of small heaters throughout the colder months. I’ve seen the discount grocer offer digital ceramic heaters, surround heaters, oscillating radiant heaters, and even outdoor patio heaters.

Most recently, Aldi is selling a ceramic heater with fan. This is sold under the Easy Home brand, which is not a separate company. Instead, it’s the private label Aldi uses for various home goods. Other Easy Home products we’ve seen recently at Aldi include a portable cool mist humidifier, hot/cold therapy neck or shoulder wraps, and rechargeable hand warmers.

What We Know:

The Easy Home Ceramic Heater with Fan (Product Code: 820914 in 2022; Product Code: 829401 in 2024) cost $29.99 in January of 2024. That’s $5 less than the $34.99 it was advertised for in 2022. It’s yet another time I’ve seen Aldi lower prices on certain Aldi Finds in recent years. That’s also on the lower end of prices for space heaters on Amazon.

This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a limited time. Each store receives one shipment, and after that sells out, these are gone unless Aldi decides to bring them back at some later point. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that aren’t in stock at your local store.

Here’s more information about the 2024 model, according to Aldi:

• Provides instant heating
• Includes 9-hour timer
• Offers adjustable temperature
• Features oscillation function
• Includes digital display with button for easy control

The 2023 heater came with a two-year warranty serviced by Protel, a common Aldi warranty service provider. Aldi has not yet published information about whether the 2024 heater comes with a warranty.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t tried this heater, so we don’t know how well it works or how it holds up. We write open threads so readers can talk about their experiences with Aldi products.
