Power Force Ultra Dishwashing Liquid
Aldi dishwashing products have gone through several name changes since we began writing about Aldi almost a decade ago. In our website’s early days, products such as liquid dish soap and dishwasher detergent were sold under the Reeva private label. At some point, Reeva was changed to Radiance.
In late 2025, I started to see this product category go through another name change. While I still see some older Radiance dish detergent lingering on our local store shelves, it looks like Aldi is transitioning to another name for many of its household cleaning products, including dishwashing supplies.
That name is Power Force. This private label is not exactly new. Aldi already uses the Power Force name on cleaning products in its stores in the U.K. and in Australia. I also wrote about some Power Force dishwasher cleaning tablets Aldi US sold in early 2025, which is one of the first times I can recall personally seeing the name. Since then, Aldi stores in the U.S. have sold various spray cleaners under the Power Force name.
Now, I’m seeing the Power Force name on more products at Aldi in the U.S., including dishwasher pacs, various cleaning sponges, toilet bowl cleaner, and liquid dish detergent.
Here, I’m taking a look at the Power Force Ultra Dishwashing Liquid.
We buy Aldi products for review using our own funds. I paid $2.09 per 24-ounce bottle in late 2025 at my local Aldi. That comes out to about 9 cents per ounce.
The bottles all state these are comparable to Dawn Ultra. I found Dawn dish soap selling for 14 cents an ounce and more, depending on the variety, at Walmart in early 2026. That makes the Aldi soap a good deal.
These are Regular Buys, which means you should be able to find them at Aldi all year.
This dishwashing liquid comes in three varieties:
- Original
- Antibacterial Hand Soap Green Apple Scent
- Antibacterial Hand Soap Citrus Scent
I don’t typically buy the antibacterial dish soaps Aldi sells, but I did review the Original dishwashing liquid in 2023. Back then, the Original version was a product of Canada. I don’t see any country of origin on the new Original bottle in 2025, or on either of the new antibacterial bottles. That might indicate that the supplier has changed, but I don’t know for certain. All of the current bottles have fine print stating they are not manufactured or distributed by Proctor & Gamble, which distributes Dawn products.
All of the bottle labels claim to be “tough on grease.” The Original version contains surfactants and is phosphate free.
As far as how well these perform, they get dishes clean just fine. I don’t think these make as many suds and bubbles as name-brand Dawn, but they get the job done, and for a fraction of the cost. I’ll continue to exclusively purchase Aldi dishwashing liquid, with the Original version being my preference.
The Verdict:
Power Force Ultra Dishwashing Liquid is a rebranding of Radiance Dishwashing Liquid at Aldi. It’s comparable to Dawn Ultra and comes in Original, antibacterial green apple, and antibacterial citrus varieties. It works well enough and is priced low enough, compared to the name brand, that we think it’s worth using.
