Emporium Selection Blueberry Vanilla Goat Cheese

We tend to think of cheese as a savory food. However, certain types of cheese pair well with sweet or sweet-tart things. Cheese is often served with fruit. Or consider cheesecake, or a cream cheese-based dip for fruit. While I’ve never tried it, apple cheddar pie is also a thing.

Or, Aldi sells goat cheese with fruit. One option is goat cheese with cranberries and cinnamon. Another is goat cheese with vanilla and dried blueberries.

Here, I’m taking a look at the blueberry vanilla goat cheese Aldi sells.

Emporium Selection Blueberry Vanilla Goat Cheese is a Regular Buy. That means you should be able to find it at Aldi all year.

We buy Aldi products for review using our own funds. I paid $3.49 for a 6-ounce package in 2026. That comes out to about 58 cents per ounce.

The package of cheese I bought in early February had a best-by date of late April, so this cheese should last a while in your fridge.

This is a good cheese, and the combination of savory, creamy cheese with lightly sweet blueberries reminds me a bit of cheesecake. This is good on its own, but we also like it spread on some vanilla wafer cookies or graham crackers, which makes it seem even more like a variation on cheesecake. I don’t think the vanilla flavor is very pronounced in this, but it’s still good.

The Verdict:

Emporium Selection Blueberry Vanilla Goat Cheese features smooth, creamy goat cheese coated with dried blueberries for a touch of sweetness. It’s good served as is, or serve it alongside vanilla wafer cookies or shortbread for a nice treat.
