A Cozy CASALUX Rattan Lamp is Coming to Aldi

The month of August is a time when we begin to lose daylight as the calendar marches toward fall. One of my local meteorologists recently pointed out that, where we live, we will lose just over an hour of daylight this month. Before we know it, we’ll be keeping our lamps on a lot more compared to the bright summer months.
If you’re in need of some extra light in your home, office, or dorm, Aldi can help. The discount grocer rotates a variety of lamps of all sizes — from desk lamps to tall standing lamps — onto the shelves in the middle aisle.
One of the lamps hitting Aldi shelves this month is a rattan lamp. It features a neutral-colored woven wicker-style base and includes a white- or off-white-colored lamp shade. It’s the right size for setting atop an end table or on a nightstand.
What We Know:
The CASALUX Rattan Lamp (Product Code: 835635) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a limited time. Each store gets a single shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are sold out at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in stores August 14th, 2024.
This cost $29.99 at the time of publication. That’s on the lower end of prices for similar rattan lamps I found on Amazon.
This is sold under the CASALUX brand. That’s not a company. It’s the name Aldi puts on lamps and other lighting products it sells, which it may source from different suppliers.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet purchased this lamp, so we don’t know how well it works. Aldi has not shared any specifications or details about the lamp in the weekly ad, which means we don’t know the dimensions for this lamp, among other things. We also don’t know who makes it.
