Aldi Introduces Easy Home Microfiber Mop System

This post is an open thread and contains affiliate links

I’ve purchased several mop systems from Aldi over the years. I own an Aldi spin mop system that works pretty well, and I own an Aldi spray mop that is okay but leaves a bit to be desired.

This fall, Aldi is selling a new mop system I’ve never seen the store offer before. It’s a microfiber mop system that includes the mop itself, plus a three-chamber water-separating bucket.

Take a closer look below.

What We Know:

Easy Home Microfiber Mop System
The Easy Home Microfiber Mop System in green.

The Easy Home Microfiber Mop System (Product Code: 838232) is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is sold out at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive at Aldi October 30th, 2024.

The Easy Home Microfiber Mop System cost $19.99 at the time of publication. That’s about $10 less than many similar mop systems I found online.

Here’s more information, according to Aldi:

  • Features a three-chamber water-separating bucket
  • Can be used wet or dry
  • Has a rotating mop head
  • Available in two colors: green or gray

This is sold under the Easy Home brand. Easy Home is not a company. Instead, it’s the name Aldi puts on various household goods it sells, which it may source from different suppliers.

What We Don’t Know:

Aldi has never sold this mop before, so we haven’t yet tried it and we don’t know how well it works. We might buy one once it arrives in stores. In the meantime, we write open threads to give our readers a place to talk about Aldi products and ask questions.

  1. Saving you all the hour I spent looking for mop head replacements:) This is a smaller Mop System so most replacement mops heads run wider. I am ordering these right now so attaching the link. *With that in mind I haven’t actually used this replacement yet but don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Since it’s 12×4.. https://a.co/d/dmI82bh

  2. I bought it last night and tried to use it today. In the first 15 minutes of use 2 sections of the handle had broken leaving the plastic attachment embedded in the pole. Not looking forward to finishing the job stooped over or on hands and knees. Save your $$

  3. I finally opened the box yesterday and was excited to try it out. It seems so much more sanitary than a spray mop. As I took the pieces out to put together I say that one of the pieces of the handle was snapped off in another piece. The box looked brand new and unopened so this is a huge disappointment. Of course, this was the one time I didn’t take a receipt.

    1. That’s disappointing. But you should still be able to return it for a refund. Aldi is pretty good about recognizing its store brand products.
