Emporium Selection Easter Cheese
EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2026.
If there is a holiday coming up, you can bet Aldi has themed cheese to go with that holiday. With Easter coming soon, Aldi once again does not disappoint. Sure, you can get traditional sweets such as chocolate and Peeps at the discount grocery store, but you can also buy wax-covered assorted cheeses shaped like eggs or chicks.
For the last few years, Aldi has sold three varieties of Easter cheeses imported from the United Kingdom. As of 2026, they cost $3.99 each for 5.3 ounces.
These are Aldi Finds, which means they’ll only be in stores for a short time, so get them while they last. Each store should receive one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone until next year. Once they’re gone from your local store, you can’t order them online.
All of these cheeses should be kept refrigerated. They also should be consumed within seven days after opening. The labels all indicate these are suitable for vegetarians.
You’ll need a good kitchen knife to cut open the wax, but once you make a cut, the wax peels off pretty easilyand you can remove and slice the cheese.
Read on for a look at all of the different spring-themed cheese flavors.
Emporium Selection Aged English Cheddar:
The packaging describes this as a “smooth creamy cheese with a distinct bite.” It’s packed in white wax shaped like an Easter egg and embellished with flowers and butterflies.
This is a classic cheddar with a good bite to it. After I sliced up all three varieties of Easter cheese, this was the first to disappear from my refrigerator, so it was popular among my family.

Ingredients are cheddar cheese (pasteurized cow’s milk salt, vegetarian rennet, and starter culture). If you’re looking out for allergens, this contains milk.
One 1-ounce serving will net you 120 calories, 20 grams of total fat (13% DV), 6 grams of saturated fat (30% DV), 200 mg of sodium (9% DV), and no carbs, dietary fiber, or sugars. One serving also has 7 grams of protein.
Emporium Selection Wensleydale with Lemon and Honey:
This cheese comes in yellow wax shaped like a chick and features a unique combination of savory cheese, sweet honey, and tangy lemon.
I really liked this cheese. It has the right balance of sweet and salty, and it makes for a nice dessert cheese. I like this one the best of the two sweet cheeses in this selection.

Ingredients are Wensleydale cheese (pasteurized cow’s milk, salt, vegetarian rennet, starter culture), lemon curd (sugar, eggs, lemon juice from concentrate, butter, citric acid, fruit pectin, lemon oil), fructose, honey, and natural flavoring.
If you’re looking out for allergens this contains milk and egg.
One 1-ounce serving has 110 calories, 8 grams of total fat (10% DV), 5 grams of saturated fat (25% DV), 170 mg of sodium (7% DV), 2 grams of total carbohydrates (1% DV), 2 grams of total sugars, 2 grams of added sugars (4% DV), and 6 grams of protein.
Emporium Selection Wensleydale Cheese with Raspberries and White Chocolate:
This cheese comes in pink wax shaped like an Easter egg embellished with flowers. This is another novel flavor combination of savory cheese with sweet raspberries and white chocolate.
This one is noticeably sweet, if not necessarily raspberry- or chocolate-flavored. It’s good, although I like the honey lemon cheese better.

Ingredients are Wensleydale cheese (pasteurized cow’s milk, salt, vegetarian rennet, starter culture), sugar, white chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, whey powder, lactose, emulsifier [soy lecithin], vanilla extract), freeze dried raspberry pieces, and natural raspberry flavoring.
If you’re looking out for allergens, this contains milk and soy.
One 1-ounce serving has 110 calories, 8 grams of total fat (10% DV), 5 grams of saturated fat (25% DV), 160 mg of sodium (7% DV), 3 grams of total carbohydrates (1% DV), 3 grams of total sugars, 3 grams of added sugars (6% DV), and 6 grams of protein.
The Verdict:
Emporium Selection Easter cheese at Aldi includes Aged English Cheddar, Wensleydale with Lemons & Honey, and Wensleydale with Raspberries & White Chocolate. These are all good, and which one you like best depends on whether you prefer savory, sweet, or a bit of sour.

Aldi is the source for this cheese girl’s cravings.
The Wensleydale Lemon Honey cheese is packaging an adorable yellow chick.
Excellent cheese in a cute Spring outfit! ☺️
Weird. I didn’t find the White Chocolate Raspberry to taste of either of the flavors… Or taste sweet.
Even better buy on sale after the holiday.
These are Aldi Finds that are only stocked one time. If you wait, you may not be able to get them.
