Aldi Ladies' / Men's Bat Halloween Onesie

Aldi has sold adult-sized costume union suits or onesies the past several Halloween seasons. Depending on the year, the costume options range from unicorns, sharks, dinosaurs, and skeletons to bears and pineapples.

For the fall of 2024, Aldi added some new onesie choices to the mix, including an alien and, oddly, a giant hot dog suit. The grocer also offered a bat onesie. With a family member in the house who likes bats, I decided to go ahead and pick up one of the bat suits.

The Aldi Ladies’ / Men’s Bat Halloween Onesie is an Aldi Find, so that means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back next year. Aldi does not offer online ordering for this if it’s sold out at your area store.

We bought this with our own funds for review purposes, and I paid $14.99 at my local Aldi at the time of publication. That’s cheaper than other bat onesie costumes I found online.

This can be machine washed on the gentle cycle in cold water with like colors. Tumble dry on low heat. Cool iron if needed, but do not iron the decoration.

This was sold in sizes medium through extra large. Medium fits chest sizes 38″-40″. Large fits chest sizes 42″-44″. Extra large fits chest sizes 46″-48″.

I bought a medium. Our model in this post normally wears a small or medium and is about 5’3″. It fits fine, with some room to potentially layer warm clothes underneath, which we often need to do because Halloween tends to be chilly where we live.

The onesie is soft and comfortable. It’s made of a fleece material that is quite cozy.

This is a really fun onesie / costume and we’re looking forward to putting it to use this Halloween season. I’ll update this post as necessary, but for now, this onesie looks like a keeper.

The Aldi Ladies’ / Men’s Bat Halloween Onesie features 3D bat ears on the hood and tiny fangs, along with webbed wings that connect the arms to the body, and other fun details. It’s made of a warm fleece material that’s perfect for chilly Halloween nights. It fits true to size and is comfortable to wear. We like this one!
