Belavi Rattan Chair with Ottoman Returns to Aldi

Having comfortable spaces to hang out outdoors or semi-outdoors is a high priority among my family. We have a two-person glider on our porch, a collection of Adirondack chairs around our fire pit, a two-person swing and a dining table with umbrella and chairs on our back patio, and a sunroom with a loveseat, armchairs, and coffee table. We’ve purchased a lot of that outdoor furniture from Aldi over the years, and we’ve been satisfied with the quality and durability of most of those products.
In the spring of 2024, Aldi released a rattan chair with stowable ottoman. That same set is returning to Aldi in April of 2025.
What We Know:
The Belavi Rattan Chair with Stowable Ottoman is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store receives one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not in stock at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores on April 23, 2025.
The chair and ottoman set cost $49.99 in 2025. That’s the same price it cost in 2024. You might not have an easy time finding an outdoor chair and ottoman set like this for less money on Amazon.
This set features a rattan armchair with a dark metal frame and a white or cream-colored removable seat cushion, along with a rattan ottoman with a metal frame and also with a matching removable cushion on top. When you aren’t using the ottoman, it conveniently tucks under the chair for storage.
Here’s more information on the 2025 chair and ottoman, according to the package:
- Chair maximum weight capacity: 353 lbs.
- Ottoman maximum weight capacity: 176 lbs.
- Chair dimensions: 26.57″ D x 26″ W x 33.26″ H
- Ottoman dimensions: 20″ D x 17.3″ W x 9.8″ H
- Cushioned are secured to the chair with elastic loops to prevent slipping
- Easily remove covers to machine wash
This is sold under the Belavi brand. There is no company called Belavi. Instead, that’s the name Aldi puts on many of its outdoor products, which it sources from various suppliers.
The box in 2024 stated this was made for TDC USA, Inc. We don’t yet know if the 2025 chair and ottoman are made by the same company.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried this chair, so we don’t know how easily it assembles, how comfortable it is, or how durable it is. Also, Aldi has not published information yet about whether this chair and ottoman come with a warranty. We write open threads to give readers a place to discuss Aldi products.

We bought this chair twice, both times we had to return it because it gave us two of the same arms and could not assemble it. I am sad we love the one that did come correct. It is beautiful.
I just bought this chair and will be returning it. Didn’t even take it out of the box. It is poorly made. The plastic rattan pieces are not sturdy or stable and stick out from the ends of the weave. This cannot possibly hold up to wear.
We love Aldi. We do most of our grocery shopping there.
We DO NOT love their deck and outdoor furniture.
We bought chairs for the deck with metal arms. They rusted in a few months. The plastic outdoor fabric was discolored shortly after setting it up. They are not sealed up and rusty water pours out when you move them. They are shown and advertised for outdoor decks .
