Ambiano Corded 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum

Aldi has rotated a lot of different vacuum cleaners into the middle aisle over the years. We’ve seen cordless car vacuums, cordless handheld vacuums (the one we bought gets frequent use in our house), pet vacuums, and shop vacs.

The latest vacuum to show up in the weekly ad is a corded 2 in 1 stick vacuum. This functions as a regular vacuum, or you can detach part of it to use as a small handheld vacuum. I picked one up when it showed up in my local store so I could put it to the test.

The Ambiano Corded 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store should receive one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is sold out at your local store.

This was scheduled to be available at Aldi starting November 26th, 2025.

The vacuum cost $19.99 in 2025. That’s less than similar corded 2 in 1 vacuums I found on Amazon.

The vacuum is sold in navy or white.

This is sold under the Ambiano name. That’s not a manufacturer or company. Instead, it’s the name Aldi puts on various home goods it sells, which it sources from different suppliers.

Unboxing and Assembling the Vacuum:

What comes in the box.

When you open the box, you’ll find the dust container, the motor unit, a rod that is part of the handle, the main handle, a floor nozzle, and user manuals in English and Spanish.

There was a loose ring-shaped foam piece in the box we got, and I quickly realized it’s called a sponge ring and it goes inside the filter in the dust container. So, keep an eye out for pieces like this that might get jarred loose in shipping.

Assembly is pretty straightforward. Insert the rod into the handle until it clicks into place. Attach the dust bin to the motor unit, and then attach the bin and motor unit to the handle by bending a hook on the motor unit. Insert the assembled handle unit vertically into the holder near the hook, and lock it in place by bending the lower hook back up. Then, attach the wheeled floor nozzle, and you have a small, lightweight vacuum that’s ready to use.

Alternately, remove the rod and handle to use this as a handheld vacuum cleaner.

Using the Stick Vacuum:

This is easy and lightweight to use. It’s also fairly nimble, and the floor nozzle swivels easily to go around chair legs and other furniture. The floor nozzle also has a low enough profile that I can get it a few inches under furniture to more thoroughly clean my floors. The cord length is decent.

Suction also seems good on this. It readily picked up crumbs and debris on my hardwood floors, and I didn’t have to repeatedly run it over certain areas to get everything. The suction is good when you use the floor nozzle, but it’s very strong when you use this as a handheld vacuum. When I used the handheld vacuum on a small rug at my front door, it actually pulled the rug off the floor more than I expected.

Both sides of the motor unit put out a strong breeze, and if I have the vacuum rotated just the wrong way, sometimes it blows away debris on the floor, which isn’t helpful if you’re trying to vacuum things up. It doesn’t happen often enough to be more than a minor annoyance, though.

The wheels on the floor nozzle aren’t the greatest, and depending on what kind of carpet you run this over, it may or may not roll easily. It does glide smoothly over my hardwood floors, though, and most of my house is hardwood.

The dust bin is spacious and easy to empty. Just remove it from the motor unit and tap it over a trash can.

The Verdict:

The Ambiano Corded 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum is a budget-friendly vacuum that does a good job at cleaning the floors. It doesn’t weigh much, but it has decent suction. We’re still putting it through the paces and will update this review as needed, but so far, this looks like a good vacuum for the price.

  1. I used mine for first time today. Floor attachment easily picked up the dog hair off the tile. Did not do well on low pile carpet on stairs which is why I bought it.. I took the attachment off to get the dog hair off of the stairs. … time consuming but effective. I dumped the bin from the other end from the way you did and the hair and fuzz stuck to filter so I pulled it all out by hand; my mistake and I will do your way next time!

  2. I am not happy with mine because the floor part does not stay on the floor it pops up. Especially on carpet. I will return it.
